Include Stricklin, also. Preppie that loves uniform stripes and hires somebody who is not qualified to coach basketball at the SEC level. Only took one year for Southern Miss to fire Ellis Johnson. We should do the same with the basketball coach and A.D.
What cracks me up when people talk about the uniforms is how much stock everybody on this site put into them before the losses. There were several threads on picking out which outfit we wanted our team in.
No offense- don't blame the marketing guys for thinking this was something important when you have multiple threads going on and on about how crappy Adidas did us over with us looking like TAMU, all of Chillbilly's concepts, etc. And I'm not blaming Chillbilly, either- there's nothing wrong with it.
But don't praise it endlessly and then bash it when we don't happen to win. They saw what you supposedly had your interest in, they took that idea and ran with it.

Coach K could not win in year 1 with the hand Ray has been dealt.

True he is not Coach K..but its unfair to discount him as a head coach halfway into his 1st season. Especially with the luck he has had.
I have no issues with Ray yet other than his inability to add a single walk on after 10 months. If he doesn't offer Bradley whose leading the nation in scoring only 30 minutes from MSU's campus I will have a second beef unless their's some academic issue or something with him.
He's ineligible to sign with an SEC team due to how much eligibility he'd have left or something like that.

This happens to be year TWO of the Rick Ray era. Yes, he has had some bad luck with injuries BUT to only have 8 available scholarship players playing THIS year is HIS fault, not Stans.
Even with a win on Sat, no coach in the history of MSU BB has lost as many SEC games in two seasons as Ray and he also has the distinction of having the longest SEC loss streak of ANY State BB coach at 13 which he can tie with a loss to USCe on Sat. Even if we beat S Carolina, we finish in a tie for LAST in the SEC, something Stans never did in 14 years. Lose and we are alone in the celler.
Ray deserves another year BUT has to show real improvement or he will lose both his players and the fans.
