K state coach needs a new plan lol. They snuck by in 3 games this year but luck ran out today they lost to 3-5 Houston
Rhule is a good motivator and leader. He doesn’t need to be an elite X’s and O’s Guy. But he needs to have the courage to make the changes and get the right guys around him. His leadership style with a real offensive coordinator and other position coaches, it could be special. Or he can stick to “the process” and get fired in a couple years and Nebraska can keep sleeping
That’s why UNL doesn’t care if they win or not…the $ keeps flooding in. The fans enable it.
I don’t have to wait and watch us go 5-7 again to know Rhule doesn’t have it. His record speaks for itself and we bought the program builder hype while ignoring his record against ranked teams. Next year his seat is going to be red hot especially if he would rather go down with the ship then fire his buddies.

Why wouldn't Raiola leave and take Barney with him? They will have their pick of 3 or 4 Top 12 teams who will pay them well.

I wonder if Satterfield will be fired tomorrow. If so then I think Rhule at least shows a willingness to make changes and save his career at Nebraska. If not it’s not too far fetched to see him shown the door. All he has to do in the eyes of the boosters and AD is win one more game. Can he pull that off?

I think their quarterback is more concerned how he looks in his uniform and if his curly locks are in their proper place than how well he plays.

We keep hiring people that like to win. I think we need to find someone like Urban or Saban who absolutely hates to lose. Someone who hates to lose would have easily identified that throwing 2/3's of the game doesn't lead to wins. Playing soft zone doesn't lead to wins.
I stopped watching at halftime of Indiana. I didn't watch last week. I was at a friends helping pour concrete today. We got done as the game kicked off. i watched the first half and went home. Didn't watch the second half. I am officially done until we get to a bowl or maybe Rhule cleans house. I don't see that happening this year. Not sure if it will ever happen. This is my last post until that happens. I have been on here for over 20 years. It is time to walk away from the crap they put on the field in

I’m right there with you. My switch flipped after the IU game and I haven’t recovered. I’ve always tried to stay positive and keep the faith as much as I could. But after that game, I truly started to believe that Nebraska is just never gonna be good again in my lifetime. I’ll still watch and cheer. But I won’t let it get to me as much anymore. I no longer expect them to be a top 25 team.
Just hire the Montana State coach, we'd only have to pay him like $1 million/year and I guarantee he would do just as well (if not better) than the last three guys we hired.

I think if we lose the remaining games we have to consider moving on from Rhule. I think we should give him at least one moreyear though unless he refuses to fire any of his staff.
I think he needs to show immediately that he is willing to make the hard decisions like replacing a failing OC and ST coach. It will send a program-wide message and probably bring some confidence that he's serious about winning.
If we lose out and Rhule is 0-10 in games to clinch bowl eligibility, he can’t be allowed to simply bring back every coach.
