Tired of the **** talking about Sat and all the assistants. Yes, Sat is awful and so are a few assistants.

Rhule hired all of them though. This is on him.

Absolute embarrassments 2 of the last 3 weeks. Regressing as a program. Let’s fire Rhule and start over.

Look he just needs another couple of seasons to build the culture.

Regressing? Are you new to being a fan of this program?

No confidence in this coach or staff. The mistakes at this level are ridiculous.

Not yet, give him leeway see if he makes any changes to his staff before end of season. If we finish 5-7 then yes time to let him go.

Disagree. Fire him right now. Ron Brown interim coach, and get a head start on the search.

It doesn’t take 3-4 years to build a program anymore.

Look at Indiana, Texas A&M as examples

If he wants to be in Nebraska next 2 years he better fire every offensive coach and st coach.

If he doesn't care he won't

No i am not. We literally have gotten worse every game since Colorado this year. It’s beyond ****ing pathetic.

The problem is WAY bigger than Sat.

Rhule needs to be shown the door tonight
Who's paying for that? And what would the plan be going forward. You know, this fan base expects a wow hire and turns up its nose at 85% of the candidates out there. And that lucky 15% won't exactly be chomping at the bit to take on this mess.

My question for you - if he failed so miserably at hiring an offensive staff and special teams staff, why would you not just fire Rhule? Other than the buyout.

I know people are going to harp on how high the buyout is, but we are getting more money from the Big Ten than we ever have and we are about to have a tail wind from alcohol sales in the stadium.

Sometimes as hard as it is, the buyout is simply a sunk cost. At this point, it is a sunk cost and I say we bite the bullet. Don’t let this idiot re-hire 2/3 of our staff. Rather fire him

shouldn't have hired the guy to begin with

what @king_kong_ was saying earlier in the week is true.. the vibe has changed, and I think that is on the coaches, or to be more specific, it's on the head coach.

Wasn't my point.

My point is from HIS side.

Buyout would keep him here next year without end of season changes and no bowl. He AND whole staff will be toast the following year

The joy we saw last year during our unbeaten oct is gone

Our head elf is too easily knocked off his spot

true.. he talks a good talk, but I think he's got 'star player syndrom' just as bad a SF did.. they should have sat DR a long time ago and taken some of the edge off him, because it's making him worse, and god forbid he ruins that kid.. I don't think that will happen, but he better be thinking about doing this from a differnt angle.

Gotta be honest.

Not sure I give a **** anymore.

Life has so many more things to enjoy. Our **** assed football program isn't worth the misery anymore.

Agreed! We all know how this is going to go, lose for another year or two then start over… Cut the cord now and go find someone who can coach…. How many times do we need to get outcoached before we make the realization?

I said in another thread that it doesn’t even hurt anymore. Not even for a moment. Took 8 1/2 years of **** but I’m there now

It sucks. But it's true. We have not hired a coach that doesn't care if they win. Rhule could have hired the best staff willing to come with big money. Instead hired his buddy oc. A receiver coach 3 years out of puberty. And kept an oline coach that has not made any improvement in 3 years. Rhule doesn't care if he wins. Another easy paycheck for a coach. Who gets a ton of money regardless of he is fired or not.

Can someone explain to me why this coaching staff thought their best option was to trot DR back out after he had just left the field. Maybe this inept coaching staff had no clue, but DR's back knew better. He was hurt! Everything about the team since halftime of the Colorado game has been based on low percentage plays and haphazard play calling. The offense has no snap. Lack of an efficient plan. It is like they play hoping for a miracle. Not scoring when they were on the 6- or 7-yard line. Not Good!!! Good teams don't do that. It is just a sh^t show. Place kicker missing that last PAT so even if the Huskers managed to score a TD in the waning moments the best they could do is end up in OT. I wrote before this game if the Huskers lose this game, they will not win another game this season. Who thinks the Huskers will come even close to winning any of their last three games: USC, Wisconsin and Iowa?

Rhule comes across as if he has a plan. The Oregon coach has a plan. The Indiana coach has a plan. The Boise State coach has a plan. The K-state coach has a plan. What is Matt's plan?

Iowa is beating the urine out of Wisconsin at home, they are playing excellent there this year. They will smash us. Wisconsin we will never beat. N

Empty memorial and **** will change. We’ve been the most tolerant fan base in the country. Time to be heard or we just keep having these ******* dogshit 5 win season forever. We are officially a bottom feeder program and we deserve it as we keep “selling out” every game no matter how bad it gets. Who cares if Raiola leaves. He’d be better off at another program anyway.

We lost to two first year coaches now.
Hell! the UCLA fat cat boosters did not even want Foster and he still managed to out coach the Huskers. Who really thinks Eric Bienemy is a good OC? Must be better than Satt.
