Either a) you think Young was an offensive stud, who was a Pike recruit as a transfer, or b) we don’t need a single offensive stud to rely on, based on the prior 2 years.
Don't tell me what I'm thinking. What I stated was in the transfer portal what offensive studs which Pike and Rutgers desperately need is going to want to play for Pike.

Apples and oranges. He recruited Young before he showed his true colors of being allergic to coaching offense.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, what Pike did in the last 4 minutes of the HOU game possibly cost us the sweet 16 but definitely cost us offense recruits. In this day and age, what top high school players want to pay for a coach that plays prevent offense
He had only been a head coach for what, 15 years at that point instead of 18?

Our biggest obstacle is still lack of draft picks. Need to show players they can come here and get drafted. Looking forward to some nice additions through the portal.

He’s technically still a freshman and we still had a slim shot at March Madness. That’s pretty much gone now so hopefully usage goes up. Otherwise I’m not sure what’s going on other than maybe something behind the scenes.
Jones is gone. No way he does not transfer. Willing to put money on it.

I’m trying to understand your lack of logic. Do we need offensive studs? We didn’t in the past. Unless you think Young was an offensive stud? But Pike recruited him, which you’re saying is impossible.

Be consistent if nothing else.

Young this history and I've never mentioned him once in all my posts this year. We need transfer portal offensive studs, and if your son was an offensive stud in the transfer portal would you allow him to play for Pike? Would you.

You’re being inconsistent. You don’t seem to understand that still.

I would, or I wouldn’t, depending on a wide variety of factors. I certainly wouldn’t rule it out immediately like you seem to be implying.

Pike is going nowhere. Cant afford to pay the contract. This is not a good basketball team, I cannot believe he set expectations that this was an NCAA tournament team that would go to the Sweet 16. I guarantee he wishes he took that statement back.

We won Tonight.
In Pike I trust
30 years no NCAAs,
He has ~2 in last 2 seasons.
RU fans act like we are DUKE OR UNC & can't have a down year. Hell we are going to START to benefit from our NCAA success with HS kids.

Relax and enjoy the ride.

Its amazing how many fans here just suck

You get this clear sense from the "peakers" that they want to be soooooo right when they said Pike would fail 2 years ago, that they are actually rooting for us to lose.

Something wrong with that bunch.

The fire Pike rhetoric is mostly the same posters spamming the board over and over again - and they mostly appear only after a loss or in games where they anticipate a loss. I've started staying away from the board during games and after losses as filtering / wading through the histrionics is just not a good use of my time.

unfortunately pikiell is going to be the fall guy for years of ineptitude and people’s outlandish expectations.

pikiell has performed miracle work and for some reason a small part of the base can’t seem to see it. People think you go to the big ten and it is magic. National title and ncaa appearances become easy. Well tell nebraska, northwestern, Penn state, Minnesota, even Maryland(right now) that…. These programs like all the other elite programs in big ten have hade a 30 year head start.

I hope pikiell keeps his job and if her were to lose it we make a great hire and that coach can build on the miracle that pikiell has performed but like nebraska found out during miles and Minnesota with pitino that the grass is not always greener.
