That ain’t happening. He obviously won’t get fired this year. Next year will be the swan song. As of now I don’t see a scenario where he coaches here beyond next season. Guys like cal don’t get fired. His ego won’t allow him to go out in any way other than his own terms.

Hey @Gromcat - i'm here to eat my crow from the Cal Cult thread. Maybe not as far as fire Cal (yet), but last night was completely unacceptable for a "coach" so highly touted as CC.

Please serve it with something pleasant to drink so I can wash down the aftertaste.

I just want UK to win and I want a coach who values the program. My interests have always been UK dominance. I hoped Calipari was our modern goat but he quit on this job and suckered a lot of people in the process.

If we all think long and hard about it, especially those who are 35+, we all knew trusting John Calipari had the potential to bite us.

We didn't renew ours which we had since Tubby...ticket office called three times and texted my wife...finally I told them, we'd renew when Cal was shown the door...

It’s strange. Cal came in as beloved as any coach could be, I’m guessing but I will say he will be disliked more than Billy Clyde when he’s gone. He is destroying the program I remember. Hopefully Mr. Mitch gives another extension beyond whatever the heck he has now.
