When he’s on the floor I can’t tell you how many times it results in a desperation shot at the end of the shot clock. If we as fans are able to see how much better of a team we are when he’s on the bench, why can’t the guy making 9 million see it ?!?

With about four and a half minutes to go I was reduced to rooting for Askew to foul out. had that happened we would be in here talking about a totally different outcome.
Cal will resign after the season. I think he's fed up. He's not greedy and he will land firmly on his feet.
No other coach would be playing him or letting shoot nearly as much as Cal does.
Come on guys....UK is gonna eat first no matter what, UK IS the needle, UK is the Gold standard. Cal said so, and he wouldn't dare just say those things.
Same with askew. If he was on any other team in America he’d be getting 10-15 minutes a game, being groomed and developed for next year. But at Kentucky he is playing the entire second half, with 0 points, 1 assist, and 1 rebound, just to improve his g league stock. He’s gotta go.

Think about this. While Stoops is breaking boundaries, beating UT @ UT, beating UF, rejuvenating the football fan base. Meanwhile, this is the worst start in almost 100yrs, first time being swept by bama since 88-89. Once going up, the other is going down. Who saw this coming?

He’s been recruiting poor shooters, a multitude of low basketball IQ guys, etc. And when you look at next year, even with a ton of these guys coming back, there’s no reason to get your hopes up.

Mitch may have killed UK basketball by giving the snake oil salesman a lifetime contract for $10mil a year. We’re so screwed. The real miracle is an NBA team calling him and he leaves.
