Tubby felt pushed out after two second round losses as 8 and 9 seeds.

Cal has had three seasons of 21 losses, a first round upset by a 15 seed, and a 2nd rd exit as a 6 seed.

Morons on here can keep yelling it but it’s not going to happen. Just makes UK fans look like uneducated rednecks
You crack me up the same **** was being said about Tubby and Tubby was producing better results at this stage , not missing the tourney, not producing the worst season in program history, not having the worse loss in tournament history. You know what happened when UK fans wanted change fans are what made the change happen back then. Fans will be the reason why there will be change here again soon too!

You have a spare $42 million?

We can shout "fire him" until we lose our voices, but without the buyout money, it does no good.

It will cost us much more in the long run to let him destroy the entire reputation of the program but **** it, pay him $9 million a year to drive the program straight into the dumpster for another 10 years. That’s cheaper.

Sunk cost fallacy happening. At this point tit would be cheaper to give him $50 million than to pay him to keep doing this.

Anyone thinking next year's team will be better shooters is drunk. We will be right back here bemoaning a 2nd round or Sweet 16 loss this same time next year. That #1 class coming in is NOT what many think it is.
And in the end, they will still be playing in a archaic offense, run by a coach who refuses to make adjustments, mix up defenses or emphasize fundamentals.
I have ZERO faith in UK basketball now. We are simply running out the clock...one painful year at a time...until Calipari resigns, retires or agrees to a buyout. And any buyout won't be viable until after next year.
Total misery.

I talk with a former player, Joe Hall era and he says what you are seeing is what U of L dealt with at the end of the Denny Crum era. Except Calipari is still getting recruits, whereas once Houston left Crum had trouble getting elite recruits. Calipari's best years are behind him.

Cal wasn’t the reason UK lost today. But, that doesn’t fit the anti-Cal narrative so the anti-Cal crowd won’t admit to it.
Oh so Cal let the players decide who is playing? Cal let the players stay in man to man the whole freaking game when KSU didn't make anything but layups until the end? Cal let Oscar decide to come out and guard a pg that led to multiple offensive rebounds and layups? Even with the poor shooting by 2 key players, if Cal just told the players to go zone and pack it in then we win. We gave up like 20 freaking layups.
