whats Going on is Frost is not ready to be a head coach here or anyplace else.

Well, I still think HCSF will get things going right and he's had success previously. But it's just brutal watching NU looking so helpless. We'll just have to hang in there.....

I'll give frost one more year. If we are still making the same mistakes and look discombobulated after 4 seasons, regardless of how many underclassmen we are starting, I'm done with him. That shouldn't be an unreasonable position to have.

I agree right now this program is more of a mess Than right after bozo left his stained mark and called the ad a *****. Scott needs to get it fixed yesterday

If I was Moos, I would tell Frost that he needs to make some staff changes before next season. If Frost does that, I think he has two more years to show improvement. If there is no improvement after his fifth year here, I think it's time to look elsewhere.

Objectively, this looks like a coaching staff that gets fired after three years. If it was anyone but Frost, I think the only reasons why NU wouldn't pull the plug after year three would be COVID-19 and the buyout. And if Frost had gotten this job at an earlier point (like following Solich or Callahan), there's no way he would have made it past year three with these results.

At this point I think Bo is a fair benchmark for Frost to be measured against. Not great, but not a total crapshow. If after 4 years we aren't to the Bo level of success, its time to move on.

Everyone knows this is a covid throwaway year. He’s not getting fired.
I don’t think anyone in his right mind is saying that Frost should be fired this year. The question to me is whether he should be given a fifth year if there isn’t any improvement next year. I think he should be given a fifth year in that situation only if he makes staff changes after this year, including DC.

....

Again we tried to win a game with a center that cannot snap the football forcing our QB's to jump everytime, how can we run a tempo offense with any rythm?
And who's fault is that? it's the head coaches fault.. how are you going to hold him accountable? That guy is so stubborn, he will still tell you how CJ will be an all American trophy winner..

You fire his ***. And hire someone with actual experience.

This is the worst head coaching hire we have had in since the 60's

And people here want to keep him? Send him packing.

What is the deal? Stockholm Syndrome?

It's a little too soon. He needs to be given 4-5 years. But nothing beyond that if he hasn't shown improvement.

OMG...does he really have a mouth full of chewy tabbacy during a press conference? Please tell me that’s not true. Good grief

I haven’t seen him with any chewy this season. Maybe he gave it up due to Covid. One can hope..
But anyways, the issue is not chewy it’s his play calling and lack of quarterback. This has been beat to the ground but essentially he needs to relinquish his OC duties and give them to Lubick. He also needs to get rid of his buddy Chins. Enough is enough.

I’ve said it before, I think 9 wins is the ceiling for Frost. And just 5 years ago that was not enough for us. Such a disappointment.

Hell, first he has to having winning season before he meets the Nebraska standard of winning 9 games a year..
