Exactly. That sack total is so unacceptable that someone has to be held accountable. If Dylan leaves, so be it. I want to see if TJ can lead the offense.Tonight.

“Accountable.” You are exactly right. Someone has to be … at some point … yes?Exactly. That sack total is so unacceptable that someone has to be held accountable. If Dylan leaves, so be it. I want to see if TJ can lead the offense.
He has proven himself to suck every damn year, this year seems like the worst.Tonight.

There seems to be a fairly low ceiling matching our OL with an immobile QB.Tonight.

He's killing Dylan's draft stock, which matters to his family a lot. At this point, after this horrendous performance, we need to make a change. I am tired of the excuses for ****** OL play and Raiola taking endless sacks. 9 sacks is just ridiculous and embarrassing. Can’t keep him- I can’t imagine Dylan would care at this point
Agree. I feel we had a great QB in the second string and we need to stop acting like we have to be delicate in handling the Raiolas. The team will disintegrate if we don't show we care more about winning than appeasing a family. His line was so confused last night, Minnesota had their number, when your quarterback gets sacked on a 3 man rush you have big problems! It’s time Rhule hies a top notch offensive line coach, just look at the special team a disaster last year and this year after hiring a top coach you get great results, if we lose Dylan and Dayton so be it. It’s time to take action
Dylan will likely leave anyway. Fire Donnie tell Dayton to go to another school .His line was so confused last night, Minnesota had their number, when your quarterback gets sacked on a 3 man rush you have big problems! No more Raiola’s around this program. I wouldn’t be upset if Dylan left with unc.Our Special Teams have set the standard on how Amazingly fast things can turn around with the right coach… it’s time… I don’t know who the absolute best OL coach is or who’s the next up and comer but spend the money and go get him!
If I'm Dylan I’d be thinking that I gave Uncle Donny enough time to prove himself… if he wants in the NFL he needs a line that will allow him to show off. And if I’m Dom, I’m having a HARD talk with my brother on WTF is going on! I’d go so far as to say that Dom needs to step in and help as an UNPAID assistant OL Coach to get this room through the year as well! All Hands on Deck!
enough is enough
Were they confused or is it that they are pathetic in execution and low talentHis line was so confused last night, Minnesota had their number, when your quarterback gets sacked on a 3 man rush you have big problems! Both things can be true. Were they confused or is it that they are pathetic in execution and low talent
Kind of like finding above average OL players, no?It is crazy that coaching OL should be so easy but it turns out to be the hardest coach to find.
Rhule could go a long way in redeeming himself if he brought Sam Pittman on board the rest of season as an analyst with the intention of taking over OL duties next year
Rhule showed serious balls (bordering upon desperation) last season in firing the OC and promoting Holgerson during the regular season. Not many coaches would dare take that gamble with so much on the line. Props to Rhule for pulling it off!Rhule could go a long way in redeeming himself if he brought Sam Pittman on board the rest of season as an analyst with the intention of taking over OL duties next year
PS If I’m Rhule trying to explain the change, I make sure the players and I agree that recent performance is completely unacceptable. Then, with agreement that something needs to change, I challenge them to decide whether it has been coaching, or that they the players are pussies.Rhule showed serious balls (bordering upon desperation) last season in firing the OC and promoting Holgerson during the regular season. Kind of like that move … fire or move Donovan, name whomever is Donovan’s first assistant as interim OL coach (not even sure who that is), and bring in someone like Pittman as a consultant. Then, absent noticeable improvement, promote the consultant.
Such a move would be risky! His players apparently love Donovan. So, yeah, it’d be yet another huge gamble.

He is not blameless. But, taking into account a bit of context and nuance, I think that’s a bit harsh. You’re giving Rhule way too much credit imo. If anything, he deserves ridicule for getting us into the situation to begin with. Showed serious balls is not how I see it. At all.
He left the next day. I’d love the hear the conversation if we reached out. What’s Bill Callahan up to these days? Son just got fired. Maybe he wants out too
Bill Callahan is available for OL coach. It is crazy that coaching OL should be so easy but it turns out to be the hardest coach to find.
