That is really surprising. I think the Huskers have a shot at winning tonight, but wouldn't put a dime on them right now even if I was getting points.

Nebraska is a 1.5 point favorite over Maryland tonight.

You should wager more than usual on Maryland +1.5.

You’re welcome.
After 5 straight loses, the fact that we are favored by 1.5, tells me you shouldn’t touch this line. I know that sounds crazy but being a long time better, I’ve learned you don’t touch lines that just don’t make sense. Nebraska will probably pull one out of their *** tonight.

As long as NU is favored I’ll bet against them till they can win a game..

I understand the feeling. I don’t see how we win either, but the fact we are still favored tells me something isn’t right.

My guess is because we have been good at the Vault winning games ( providing we can make A good FG %)

Momentum is a funny thing in life and in particular sports. Look at Rutgers - they beat Nebraska and went on to beat Penn State and Indiana to cap off a 3 game winning streak. Illinois beat Nebraska and turned around to knock off top 10 Michigan State. Nebraska definitely still has enough talent to rattle off a few wins. They just need some shots to fall and get some momentum back. If I were a betting man, I'd put money down on Nebraska tonight to turn things around. Time will tell.

Attitude is a big factor with momentum. Huskers had it through December when they were beating some really good teams. Attitude of "let's prove everyone how good we are" - and they did! Then, with just a little bit of adversity the attitude seemed to have flipped exactly opposite. For some in this group (just based on my observation of body language), they can't seem to overcome a little adversity and it has effected every aspect of the game. We need someone (or a couple people) to "get over it" and play like it is still December. Easier said than done....

Saw this thread over lunch so I took a look. It's now Nebraska -2.5 in this game.
