I'm leaning toward a wood pellet smoker/grill. I'm curious about opinions of Pit Boss vs Traeger. I'm not looking to spend big green egg money.

I've got a Pit Boss, love it. The big difference between any pellet grill is the control board, and with most all brands you can install enhanced boards with plenty of features that will supposedly give you even more accurate temps for cooking. I've seen plenty of Traeger's in action and they seem nice too. I ended up going with Pit Boss because of a Father's Day sale.

I love doing a 6 hour smoke with ribs, and have started doing pizza's some as well.

IMHO, find one that's the size you're looking for, at a decent price, and have fun.

I have this below. My issue is controlling heat for long periods of time. I have to babysit it way too much.

The good thing about this product is I can do a lot of meat at once. I've done 4 boston butts.

Still, I would recommend something else than this. Just not sure what to go for yet..
