Football final: Luray 45, Skyline 27. Hawks drop to 0-3, Bulldogs are 4-0
Luray outgained Skyline 424-296 tonight, the Bulldogs had 310 yards rushing. Brady Jenkins rushed for 150 and a TD and passed for 114 and 2 TDs, Kenny Frye rushed for 130 and 3 TDs.

BREAKING: Lakeland HS football game cut short because of a shooting threat. No shots were fired. The game was evacuated.
JUST IN: Lakeland football coach Joe Jones said the game against Great Bridge was stopped two minutes into the third quarter because of something happening in the stands. Jones does not know what happened, per

A good game ruined because a few people with personal beef, that had nothing to do with the game, started a fight out in the parking lot that involved gun fire. Thank god no one got injured. Thanks goes out to the Essex Co. Sheriff & Police Departments as well as the local State Troopers for their fast response in getting things under control.
Altavista & William Campbell tied at 6, then the lights went out!!! They’ll pick it up Monday tied at 6
The William Campbell game will resume play this Monday (9/27) at 7:00 p.m.
