My take: Not too much disagreement from your original projections.

Gennings Dunker = 4 RD

Logan Jones = 3 RD Have him going higher, I think KF gives a glowing review to GMs.

Max Llewellyn = 6 RD

Beau Stephens = 5 RD

TJ Hall = UFA

Aaron Graves = 6 RD

Kaden Wetjen = UFA Fantastic returner, but didn't catch enough passes.

Mark Gronowski = 6 RD I have Grono in the 6th due to his maturity and I think KF gives a glowing review to GMs.
Karson Sharar = UFA
Xavier Nwankpa = 6 RD I have X going in 6th, he has really good measurables, I think some GM will go for that in RD 6.
Drew Stephens = UFA

I'm just hoping someone goes in the first, the most likely being Dunker. But most seem to have him and the rest as a second round and beyond.

Because Dunker is slotted to play guard in the NFL, there's no way he's going 1st round. He might go towards the end of the 2nd round. But teams don't take guards and centers in the first couple rounds of the draft unless they're generational talents.

I saw one mock that had:

Dunker-3rd
Jones- 3rd
Stephens- 4th
Max- 5th
Graves- 6th
Hall -7th
Wetjen- 7th
Drew Stevens- 7th

Getting 8 guys drafted would be a dream for Hawkeye football.
On the other hand losing all that talent is a nightmare for Hawkeye football.

Well, he's going to the Dolphins. So he won't be seeing wins any time soon. Hope he gets blown up in the League and rides the bench until he's cut.
What can go wrong a Guy who is overweight , lazy , Character issues getting drafted to live in Miami . Dolphins are ran by idiots

If he matures and gets professional about his craft he could still be great.
So far, his core character is questionable.
High ceiling low floor pick.

With the Players on the board that was a huge risk pick especially when several other OTs were on the board with much higher floors and as good a potential, He will eat and drink and wannbeplayer hitting those Clubs out of the League , No Bama good ole boy club to cover Him in Florida, Those cops do not play

I have no reason to defend Proctor.
However, it seems he is being painted on here with a very black brush.
I have heard of NO vile issues with him like sexual abuse, domestic violence, ordinary violence, etc.
Switching to Iowa, then quickly switching back to Alabama isn't grounds for character assassination.

I don't know, but it sure seems like a pretty low character thing to do changing school twice withing weeks with your hand out to both schools. There were also some comments about how he wouldn't be challenged or basically get the same benefit from playing at Iowa as far as his NFL future. That one was pure poppycock. There isn't another college team in the country with any better resume at putting OL in the league draft OR having them succeed when they get there.

That’s an huge exaggeration tbh. Full quote:

“The issue with him is — he’s not a bad person. He’ll do whatever you ask him to do once you get him in the building. But when he’s not in the building, he might get a little overweight, he might not come in in the best shape and those are the kinds of things you gotta manage with him. But I think they’re manageable.

“In other words, he’s not really a self-starter that’s going to go out there and get into shape and come into camp like you want him. But if you can get him to come to camp, if you’ve got him there, and get him ready to go. So I don’t think that’s a huge negative for the guy, and I think he’s going to be a really good player.”

Charlie Jones with Cincinnati has proved you can last for at least several years without catching any passes as long as you are a successful returner.

Charlie is a good example, but he had a great year with Purdue to showcase his abilities.

I didn't say Wetjen won't make a team, but I do think his lack of catches drops his draft status.

In my opinion, if a team takes Wetjen it will have nothing to do with how many catches he had at Iowa. They're going to take him because of his return ability. If I had to pick between Jones and Wetjen for returner, I'd take Wetjen.

Looks like you had Dunk correct and I had Jones correct.
Hoping for a strong showing of hawkeye talent taken today.

So far, outside of Dunk and Beau I’ve been way off.

Max is in a free fall right now, but pleasantly both Kaden and Karson were taken much higher than I expected.

My initial post-combine predictions can be found >>here<<

Here is how I feel each potential Hawkeye draft pick slots heading into the draft:

Gennings Dunker = 71-85, 3 RD - Check

Logan Jones = 96-120, 4 RD - 2nd

Max Llewellyn = 131-145, 4/5 RD - 7th

Beau Stephens = 141-155, 5 RD - 6th

TJ Hall = 151-165, 5/6 RD - Check

Aaron Graves = 181-195, 6 RD - UDFA signed by BAL

Kaden Wetjen = 221-235, 7 RD - 4th

Mark Gronowski = 251-300, 7 RD/UFA - UDFA signed by Miami
Karson Sharar = 276-290, UFA - 4th
Xavier Nwankpa = 291-305, UFA - UDFA signed by KC
Drew Stephens = 301+, UFA
Not bad. Additionally...
Large UDFA signed by CHI

Of the UDFA's I have to think X has a decent shot of sticking with KC. Their defensive backfield is a mess.
