#1. Quit saying Giles tried to cheat. The kid made a mistake. You don't know what you are talking about if you think he tried to cheat. He screwed up and admitted it. He didnt say "provisional"

#2. Why is Giles upset about the whole thing? When you play golf like a real Man...you call the penalty on a player right then and there. Galax just got soooooo lucky when the Chatham girl decided to pull this stunt. The boys just followed her like a bunch of puppy dogs.. Did she and the other kids in the 4some break the rules??? No. They just abused the rules that are in place because they knew he could get DQ'd afterward if they waited until the end. Classy people call the penalty. Galax people wait and win on a technicality.

#3. You guys wouldn't keep coming on here bashing me if what I said didnt really bother you. If you really thought I was full of it, you would ignore me. But the truth hurts and it gets to you that you actually won state on a technicality, and not in reality.

#4 I am done venting and talking about Galax athletics. You guys do have some good athletes down there. The problem is...they know it and they show it. Its like a school full of Terrell Owens and Ochocincos. Enough Said.

Everyone needs to get over it. It sucks to lose that way im sure. Its part of the game though. I would be upset if Galax was the one that it happened to so i understand Giles points. I think there is nothing anyone can do about it now. The thing to do next year if your Giles is just go try to win it all next year. Galax keep up the good work. They are good and yes we may know were good but ohwell. I think we have earned the right to brag about some sports. I do want to say that some of these Galax fans need to stay off the board because all you are doing is making Galax look disrespectful and giving us an even worse name then we have already. Lets drop this. Galax won state year before last. Giles won state last year and Galax won State this year. (not like they wouldve wanted but they won). Lets get over it.

He didn't forget to say one word he knowingly played the wrong ball. His score would've been different if he had actually followed the rules. Giles would have won even with the rules being followed and the penalty strokes added. Its a part of the game. Get over it.

Ok..Im glad you were there. This was the ruling by the VSGA. He played the wrong ball because he didnt say it was his provisional. Do you know the rules? If he would have said that ball is my provisional then is wouldnt have been the wrong ball.

Now that is my final post..haha

Even if he had declared it a provisional, once the original was found it has to be played. that was stressed at the meeting on sunday.
