Yes, they are, AND they aren't playing Texas, which was my comment. These games are about matchups, (and obviously Texas matched up well with UCLA. Beat them once pretty handily I think, and held them to 51 points Friday). UCLA came back with a purpose after last years semi loss, and then they added Kneepkins.

Meghan McKeown is such an interesting case. A couple things always come to mind:
1. Wood
2. There isn't ever a time I see her on television where she doesn't have resting b**** face.
She comes across like she had to kill a LOT of people to get to the career position she's in, and always acts like she isn't afraid to kill a few more to stay there.
It's a fascinating juxtaposition, to me anyways.........

UCLA was easily the best team this season
If my daughter were playing for SC, I would yell out, "We'll see you at the hotel, sweetie!" and leave.

The refs allowed a rugby game to occur va Texas. As I said they were never going to allow that in this game. There were some quick whistles early which set the tone.
in a game of skill Texas was going to be outclassed.

UCLA won the 2025 NCAA men's water polo championship, defeating USC 11-10 on a last-second buzzer-beater goal. This victory on December 7, 2025, secured the Bruins' second consecutive national title and their 14th in program history. The 2025 tournament was held at the Avery Aquatic Center in Stanford, CA.

I don't like Dawn Staley or Geno Auremia for various reasons. I thought that Staley handled herself well in defeat. I will give her that.
AND? They played much better didn't they? I'd say Texas played much better defense on them then SC did as well..
Really? Kind of a stretch, don't you think? I mean if either of our hoops coaches EVER play for FOUR championships in a five year span, and the one they didn't they lost in the final 4, then I guess that's an apt comparison. This is the same type of over reaching comment that we complain about from the haters. Its silly either direction. I'm not a big Dawn Staley fan, but I'm pretty sure if she was coaching Iowa our roster would look a lot different then what it does. Just saying.
