Haven't seen the final episode yet, but this has been an excellent series and I think they picked it up for a second season.
I agree, and it was really good. You have to watch when your house is quiet, because there is a lot to digest.
Still can’t believe it was Vader all along. Who knew?
Just finished, gotta be honest, I’m a little let down we didn’t get to see the actual villain, I was hoping for that.
I’m guessing Dr. Strange multiverse of madness is going to get balls deep in this.

Supposedly this is going to open up the MCU to be able to bring in the actors and characters from other movies such as Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield from the other Spider-Man movies. My understanding is the multiverse is going to be the next Infinity saga.

Yes we did. HWR was the villain Sylvie was chasing the first five episodes. Our season 1 got resolution and questions answered for every question that was posed in the first five. Only unanswered questions are new ones raised by episode six revelations.
Were you a little let down in the first avengers movie because you didn't see the "actual villain" Thanos instead of Loki?
If you include the post credits, we did see thanos in the first avengers movie.
Some of you people like to 17ing argue for no reason. I was hoping to see Kang the Conqueror in his full get up. If it rubs you the wrong way that I was hoping to see that, get over it.
And multiverse Spider-Man villains as well. Alfred Molina is reprising his role as Dr Octopus as well as Jamie Foxx as Electro. The next Spider-Man movie is going to be insane.
I mean by your own standards you saw a statue of Kang at the end. And at least this one is the actual actor signed on to be Kang, not a placeholder Thanos. Plus Immortus / He Who Remains is literally the "good" version of Kang.
But you didn't say in his full getup. You said him, you were clearly wrong on that statement. So change it and say you said something else then I guess.
Many point still stands, we met the overarching villain of Loki Season 1. You'll have to give it time to see the different Kang's that come to rule through the next phases on Marvel.
I want to say I read that Willem Dafoe will be back as well and possibly the main villain.
Then you have Vulture in the Morbius trailer. It’s going to get wild. I haven’t ever read any of the comics, just hours upon hours of online reading, so I don’t know if there is any source material they are following. But I wonder if this is how we get xmen and fantastic four. Mobius made a comment about vampires, so I imagine this is where we get Blade from. Can’t rule out the return of any deceased characters now either.
Watched it last night and I enjoyed the finale. I read where some folks were disappointed and felt like it didn't do service to the story arch, but considering it set the stage for a lot to come, I'm good with it.
I agree, it was a great series, and there’s no real need for a conclusion, the obvious plan was for a setup of the future. I’ll be watching the series again for sure.

I SWEAR I heard Emporer Palpatine's line "unlimited power!!" from Rise of Skywalker. I'm going to have to go back and listen again as I may have misheard but that would be a hell of a crossover....

I wouldn't be surprised if the multiverse is where we see some of the other characters come from. Gives a reason for them not being there before.
I really enjoyed this series a lot. My MVP from this episode though was Old Loki. Probably the most visually impressive moment of the show was when he conjured an entire city to distract Alioth. Then he literally looks down the mouth of the dragon and laughs like a mad man. What a bad ***.
When Loki and Sylvie are watching in awe, Loki says, “I think... I think...”, and then delivers a really cool line. I thought it would’ve been even better if the line would’ve been “I think... he’s the real Loki.” Either way it was a really cool scene.

It was the first Marvel Disney + episode that made me believe they are actually going to start giving the fans more than just teases and glimpses. I have to go back and rewatch but the performance by Jonathan Majors was off the chain.

As I stated, I was just hoping to see a battle ready Kang. But, the suspense will be worth it, as it was with Thanos, I’m sure.
I got it. I was just glad to get something other than the not so subtle SJW messaging throughout this thing that eventually made one of the best antagonists in Marvel a whiny wimp playing second fiddle to another female completely better than him at everything and taking over as the best Loki until Tom is left at the end scared almost crying.
Remember this guy in the first Avengers? Ragnarok? What a sad ending for such a fun character.
The show was fantastic. I never read the comics so its all new to me, but I am really liking the multi-verse. Jonathan Majors blew this out of the water. I am excited to see what he can bring as the new big baddie.
I see zombie movies as less entertaining and more educational for stuff we need to know when the zombie apocalypse happens.
...if they go that route with a Palpatine crossover it'll be a matter of time before we see a goofy or maleficent crossover.
I didn't get that at all. She only bested him at the end because he literally threw away multiple swords. They're the same person and have largely the same power level. Hell, the only one they showed as out classing the rest was Classic Loki. Sylvie had the enchanting experience upper hand but still couldn't Mary Sue it.
The only thing she was more impressive with was enchanting. Loki was never outmatched or outwitted. He controlled things on Lamentis between the two of them. Neither broke out from capture under their own power. They only treated Sylvie like more of a threat because they had been chasing her longer. I don't really see any "SJW" influence. Unless you mean Loki admitting he was pansexual. Which isn't a Disney or Marvel addition. Literally in Norse mythology, Loki is the most debaucherous God of all time. He turned himself into a horse to have sex with a horse FFS.
Not sure where you saw that she was better at everything. She never bested him 1-1 and her plan to get around Alioth was just as poorly thought out as Loki's. It took a savior from Classic Loki and a boost from Variant Loki to make it work. She did not think it through. The characters just gave more respect because she had more experience in the running away department. Which when you think about it, is really natural for how society operates. Giving respect to the tenured employee even though the junior is just as if not more competent.
Im curious what led you to believe this was an SJW fest? It felt like one of the least heavy handed Disney outputs in a long time.
Morbius is a Sony Marvel character, so he’s not part of the MCU. Maybe it was, but I figured since Blade will be part of the MCU in the next phase that it was setting that up

The heavy handed SJW messaging gets so tiresome because so many studios, including disney, think that it can take the place of a good story/content. I didn't think Loki fell into that category at all.

Glad you feel that way. I may have been looking for it after watching Black Widow first but go back and watch the entire series. They are just getting started.
