They always seem to come up "embarrassing" in big games.

Harbaugh gave up all the momentum with that atrocious 4th & goal call coming out of a time out. The pick 6 may have done them in early.

Speed, aggressiveness, and creativity beating size and power right now.

B1G meathead football doesn’t seem to show up in big games out of conference.

True.

It lends greater frustration to the fact that we have Schiano, whose conservative nature would never allow something like an air raid offense, designed to compete nationally. I think a little magic and trickery in this conference would be a welcome sight.

Which is why i laugh when a majority of R posters talk about the B1G being the premier conference hell even with USC/UCLA coming we will never overtake the SEC. They just have too many quality athletes. I expect Michigan to get back in this game if TCU can't find a rhythm on offense...

Most overrate this conference because OSU, Mich, PSU/Wiscy beat up on sloooow competition.

Michigan has plenty of speed; they blew by TCU on two big plays, the problem is that they didn’t take either one into the end zone.

One of TCU’s TDs was a pick six.

TCU may win and they’re playing well, but the lesson I’ve seen so far is that one team is making more mistakes than the other. Not that one is exceptionally faster / more creative than the other.

It's like the old saying (often reiterated by our own coach) goes, "more games are lost than won."

I thought Michigan deserved the TD on the long ball that replay overturned. It's kind of maddening to watch them basically playing TCU fairly evenly but down 21-3 on the scoreboard because of two goal line issues and the pick six.

But this game isn't over as long as Michigan does not panic.

TCU clearly faster. Not even debatable. Every level they have the speed advantage.

If you don’t think their offense is more creative I’m not sure what you are watching.

Mich could come out smoking in 2nd half seen it by them this season but TCU is definitely quicker and their QB is easily outplaying Mich qb so far.

Michigan got hosed. Was called a td. On replay was clearly a td.yet somehow overturned. Bad bad bad call.

I get the whole root for the B1G teams. Whether Michigan wins does nothing for us. The way their fans personally treated my group and others around us when we played them at MSG, I have zero respect for them. So F Michigan and their arrogant obnoxious fans. If they lose maybe it's time to eat some humble pie.

I do like to root for B10 teams OOC but in this case I like the underdog story more.

Amen. This isn't 2007 where we need to root for West Virginia to save our BCS status

I’m always surprised they are so arrogant. It’s not like they win anything.

Antiquated meathead theory.

The teams that win go out and take it. They don’t wait for another team to make mistakes. They impose their own will.
Yeah, I don't know what this was about but I was responding to the poster who was commenting that Michigan was just making mistake after mistake. They are shooting themselves in the foot while TCU aren't.

Same here, and in club seats. First time at a game that I almost started in with opposing fans. Complete jackasses.

On our flight out to Arizona on Christmas Day, had a big (really big) Michigan fan next to us. We started chatting, when I told him we were Rutgers fans, he promptly told us that Rutgers does not belong in the B1G. Later in the flight, the guy had a minor medical issue and passed out in the aisle. He was obese. My son, an EMT, checked him out. The guy sweated profusely the rest of the flight. Despite his arrogant comment, hope the guy got checked out.
