GRUNK FILM STUDY CLEMSON

See link. Thought it was noteworthy how a handful of Grunk's throws that appeared to be off-target in the moment might have been done purposely since a safety was lurking. The way he layers throws between levels with proper velocity and touch is easily his best quality...a trait he just seems to HAVE that Allar never really ever possessed. I think in one of T-Frank's practice videos from 2022 it showed Allar struggling time and time again to place a ball over what looked like a baseball pitching BP screen to a receiver. Trying to think of the last time a Penn State QB showed this type of exponential growth from Start 1 to Start 7...McGloin maybe?

If you are a Grunk fan, please don’t compare him to Matt McGloin. It’s kind of an insult.

I agree with your Grunk vs. Allar comparison.

Think of it as a scale instead of a head to head comparison. Both improved was the point.

I also agree Grunk vs. Allar.

Looking for some insightful comments from the quarterback whisperer poster as to whether he still thinks Grunk is merely a “one read” QB.
