Im amazed. This is how racist our country is. Defend the man because of his race. If he was white and swinging at a black coach, there'd be no question he'd be jobless forever tomorrow morning.
without a doubt and all of the talking heads would be on it non stop

I find it weird to randomly and voluntarily take the story in this direction, and I've seen stuff like this in both threads about what happened. Just to let you know, not every black person lies about racism or uses it as an excuse. No surprise that some who liked your post also hated the half time show as well.

Since we are into blaming people.....I blame the Wisconsin assistant coach for having his head in the way of Howard's right hand swipe.....If only his big head hadn't been there, then no contact......and no issue.

He must be fired today for having a big head....

So Howard is allowed to play to the buzzer but Gard is not. Got it, thanks.
Did not say anything about Howard playing to the buzzer. I did say and make a strong inference that Gard gets on a slippery slope when his team is up 14 and he's calling a time out with seconds to go. That is a bad look, and is subject to the wrong interpretation, which is exactly what happened. Howard did not evidently sit there and think, "Oh, he's trying to coach his team." He sat there and fumed about yet another time out call with seconds to play. Gard needed to be a bit more mindful of how that might be interpreted by the opponent. Howard will bee lucky he keeps his job. I made that clear also.

Not sure if was posted earlier but here is real good video from floor level (can make out Gard commenting on Howard having them still press):

Apparently you did not watch the game. Michigan kept stealing the ball from the second string and was making them look really bad. Gard called the time out to coach the team. Howard shouldn't have been pressing if Gard shouldn't be calling time out. The game was over effectively.

Yes, I think there's some blame on both ends but I put more on Howard even before the handshake line. I know he said they weren't pressing but it certainly looked like they still were with the game over. And while I don't think Gard needed to call time out as the game was over, it wouldn't have come to that if Michigan had already conceded like they should have.

Wait, what? Howard did the same exact thing against Indiana. It was okay when he did it I guess.

But also, Michigan was pressing and Gard called timeout so his walk ons could get the ball across half court. Michigan shouldn't have been pressing.

If Howard got pissed over the timeout, that's a Howard problem, maybe he shouldn't be coaching, he really showed his immaturity there.
