The blindside sucker punch should be a felony. I knew a guy who died a couple years ago in a bar fight. To celebrate the birth of his baby, he went out with his no-good brother who was always getting into fights. Sure enough, the brother gets into a fight with a big boy from Louisiana who was up here on a hunting trip. According to everyone there, my buddy was doing nothing more than pulling the guys apart (he was a large man) when Louisiana threw a haymaker that hit him right behind the ear. He was dead right there.

I get that fights happen but viciously sneaking a sucker punch at someone from behind that is already engaged with someone else should be a violent felony conviction. He should be pushing a broom or changing oil for the next 7 years for that decision.
