He was one of my favorites during the "Grit N' Grind" era. He's supposed to have his Grizzlies jersey retired this season.

If I hadn’t already seen the list, I swear that I could’ve guessed about 12-14 of them. It’s a virtual who’s who of NBA knuckleheads that were just good enough to make a few bucks in the league, but not good enough to be able to maintain that lifestyle forever.

My bet is that the majority will be let off after paying back the $ that they stole, but the ring leader(Williams) is going to be serving time. Just unbelievably stupid

Not worth the risk for the amount of money he got. Just a stupid thing to do and I bet he wasn’t thinking jail time if he was caught. There will be people going to jail and it could be a lot of people.

In a bit of an MSU tie- Jamario Moon is one of the arrested players.
He played 1 season at Meridian Community College under George Brooks and was recruited by MSU, but declared for the NBA.

I’m just disappointed his wife was involved. Great woman with all her volunteering & charity in & around Memphis.

Anyways, I don’t care about defrauding a health system in this country. Some people in this country choose to suffer or die instead of go in debt forever. We still have the best care you can get anywhere in the world but some charges are just nuts for the little time spent./rant off

Fraud is wrong on any level. Tony will pay it out & do time served, probably etc. Bad decisions have bad results. Just no sympathy for some monetary practices in our healthcare system.

I’m willing to bet fraud losses are factored into the insurance actuarial calculations, so assuming that’s correct, these actions affect everyone’s premiums. We all pay more to cover for the criminals, but yeah let’s give them a pass, Biden…..
