It's a long season, but what we've seen thus far is very troubling. Maybe Ozzie is trying to be that guy and I understand his frustration with Ozuna. I wish we hadn't brought him back either. Matt will be what we need him to be at some point. But, right now it is pretty bleak. Oh and our pitching has been ***. So, there's that.

A struggling Charlie Morton takes the hill for the Braves this AFTERNOON in a 3:10 EST game. Charlie has been getting hit hard with an ERA of 7.00. Typically we suck in weekday afternoon games.

Another rough day for Morton. 4 earned runs in 5.2 innings. Curses!
He looked awful....Braves lost first game, and already down 2-0 in third of second. Lose this and we're down 7 games. It's early, but don't want to dig a hole. Concerned about this team, Ozuna's lack of hustle, inability to score runs in bunches, Morton's age (he's 38) and possibly over hill??? This team doesn't look like they enjoy playing. OFC
Mets are good this year. Scherzer won't allow them to swoon. Kyle Wright pitched just fine, but losing 3-0 in the eighth
And boom, shutout- very early, but lose tomorrow and we would go down 8 games...At least need a lineup shakeup by Snit. OFC
Are the wheels about to come off early? Certainly doesn't look good. No true leader in the clubhouse, pitching is pretty suspect from a dynamite line up, the offense has been largely inconsistent, , and the issues with Ozuna really concern me.
You laid it out perfectly bleed. If we leave New York without a split, I'd say it's time to at least do a batting order shakeup. It seems like Snit and Co are just wating for the switch to turn on automatically. There's no leader among the players. (Hes in LA). OFC

My friend's daughter likes the Duke coach. The young lady wasn't good enough for a scholarship, but she had a 4.4 GPA and I think could have walked on.
