I saw where QC & Sky mentioned FTB, and so I emailed him. I was really surprised to see that he answered me back within an hour or so. I wasn't even sure if that email addy was still valid.
Anyway, he says work is kickin' his butt with all the hours he's putting in there, so he hasn't had a chance to post.

His wife is doing well. She's finished all of her surgeries except for one. She's driving, and back to school full time also. Well, I shouldn't mention everything, I'll save that for FTB to tell you guys when he posts later this week (which he says he's planning on doing).

Hey everyone! First off, I want to apologize for my extended absence. I could list a hundred excuses, but I hate excuses so I’ll just leave it at I’m sorry! I did not forget about this wonderful place and the many friends I’ve met here.

Like ODD said, my wife is doing amazing! She’s driving again, which was a huge milestone for her after the accident. She’s back in school and working on finishing her PhD. Most importantly, she’s watching Duke games again and cheering on our boys!!! Ok, so that wasn’t the most important part, but she’ll end up reading this so I had to throw it in (love you, Sweetie ;). It’s been a long road, but she has proven to be the strongest person I know. Her and I thank you for all your support since the accident!

I’ve been well. Like ODD said, work is kicking my ***, but it’s fun so I can’t complain. I’ve even used some DI posts at work. I forget who posted it a couple years ago, but in response to an article about a UNC player trying to find his classroom, someone posted “the article might as well have said he was looking for a leprechaun riding a unicorn.” So, while meeting with another attorney and a judge trying to resolve a case, the other attorney made a statement about his client’s future good intentions that I knew were BS. I responded with “so he’s a UNC basketball player saying he’s on his way to class?” They both looked at me confused (I live on the west coast). So, I said, “translation: he’s claiming he’s gonna find a leprechaun riding a unicorn.” Needless to say, I’ve used that line many times. Thanks to whoever posted it!

Anyways, I’ll be back more often. Not as much as I was a few years back, but I look forward to discussing all that’s going on both on and off the court in college basketball. And pissing off as many UNCheat and KY fans as possible in the process.
