Bloomfield up 14-0 halfway through 2nd quarter, playing very well. FCSH shooting themselves in the foot, but Bloomfield is impressive.

Bloomfield nearly scored again with a few seconds left in the second quarter, but were denied around the 3 yard line.

The Bee's had two drives over 5:00 minutes. Pretty unheard of for 8 man football.

Moles 29 carries in the first half for 104 yards for the Bees. Falls City Sacred Heart has only ran 18 plays.

Sacred Heart has been shutting down the Bees running game so far this 3rd quarter. Bloomfield still leads 14-8 at the start of the 4th.

Never seen him in person, but watching the live stream on NCN, yeah he's pretty good sized. I was just more impressed with the 29 carries in one half haha

I hope he carries it 60 times so Papa Moles aka Holdem123 can bring it to the boards with six exclamation points and 4 question marks on every post!

Bloomfield playing very patient...FCSH has not been able to get anything going. 14-8 Bloomfield up and driving with 5:40 left in this game

Agree, this second half it hasn't been working.
Listening to the game Bloom is doing a great job of chewing the clock and great defense and FCSH is just continuing to kill its self, I think someone said on this site they have done this all year but the teams they beat were not good enough to take advantage of it, very good game, see if FCSH can pull it off in the end

Many people have crow to eat for dinner tonight with their prior blowout predictions. Great game, just what I was hoping for.

Caught the second half of the game on NCN. After watching 11 man all year, primarily top teams in C1 and a little in C2, it always amazes me the drop off in depth, execution, atmosphere, etc when you get to 8 man, especially D2. Not taking anything away from the kids, just stating my opinion that the quality of product is not there. Great 8 man game though today!

Other food for thought I had after watching the game for those that think the NET production of games wouldn't change if held at six sites in two days. Even though NCN had the game covered their camera crew didn't catch the game tieing TD live. Had to show a replay from an angle out of the back of the end zone to show footage. Then on the extra point to win it a big NCN logo was plastered on the TV blocking the footage. Hey, I'm thankful that they cover the game and think it's great. Just stating that those are some things that might happen if the NET would have to stretch their crew thin to cover all the sites.

What's the point of even saying it if you aren't dogging 8 man? There's good football there.
I agree C2 and especially C1 which is the best class for football are a step above, but they should be. And I've been to some great games in 8 man for atmosphere, although nothing beats a big NC Pierce or DCA type game.

yes very stupid statement to say that the excitement and electricity isn't up to par at that level, there are many games that I have witnessed to say that is a very wrong statement, the wpcc-creighton game at Beemer about 5 years ago was huge, the howells Clarkson game about 8 years ago was cold and still the fans were loud, many many 8 man games have a great atmosphere to them.

I wasn't at the game nor did I watch it on NCN, but the score really surprised me! I predicted FCSH by 3 or 4 TD's. So I was wrong on the score, but It sounds as if listening to some reports on here that FCSH was shooting themselves in the foot over and over again, so my prediction could have been right. 29 carries in the first half? Are you kidding me? That's a whopping 3.6 yards per carry! Great back! He sure could pile up yards on 0-8 Scribner-Snyder, 0-8 Elkhorn Valley and 1-7 O'Neill St. Mary's though! Someone predicted he'd have over 4 or 5 TD's if I remember correctly. I predicted he'd have 2. I'm guessing I was correct because it sure doesn't sound like anyone else even touched the ball. I knew backs that maybe didn't have quite the line that Bloomfield had the last two years and they put up monster games against the likes of FCSH and BDS. Well you really can't or shouldn't expect to beat a good team if you are one dimensional with one player to boot!! Great game plan coach!! Xcell predicted Bloomfield 42-16 and JumboJimmy tossed out that realistic 68-6 Bloomfield win!!! That one was funny!! I mean come on, if you're going to come on here at least be realistic about things! He didn't really believe that was going to happen? Did he?

Moles was a big tough runner for Class D. But man that line was good. Watching the later game on NCN I couldn't help but wonder what Horky (sp?) for Twin Loup would have done behind that line.
