Ref said the call on the field was a fumble recovered by the offense. Not sure that was correct either, but that was the call that would have had to be overturned.
That would be the only thing that makes sense. Would like to see more replay angles.
There very good at what they do, but know one can’t tell me that playing all their games at home in the playoffs isn’t a huge advantage…Hard to imagine that style of football could win so many championships
Would have been an early season game with Frost still here. Defense gets shredded and we lose 37-34 on a last second field goal. Plethora of threads ensue about how we are "close" Laughing
I watched and agree...but you gotta win to be in that position. They seem to always be the most physical team regardless. Chucking the ball downfield into double coverage from a 7th year QB on that last drive was mind numbing.
All I could think of was like a catch on the sidelines or interception, not enough evidence to overturn the call on the field. It was defiantly a blown call.
I believe this is the 13th consecutive year to the finals... Not unlike FBS where you win one or two games to the title, this takes 3-4 games to win. EXTREMELY impressive considering this is the third coach to keep the string alive; Craig Bohl laid the foundation, Chris Klieman kept it going, and now Erntz. . NDSU also has 3 QB's in the NFL on rosters...
I have cousins that have season tickets and have told me besides some games against MVC games the majority of games are boring because NDST is so much better and games aren’t competitive until the playoffs..
pulling for montana state today and to win it all this year. their coach, brent vigen was bohls oc a couple years ago. same game. run it if you can with a decent pass game if necessary. defense sort of a patchwork at times just hoping for a few stops. basic football for 60 minutes
SDSU looks strong. NDSU is the walking dead on defense missing 4 or 5 key starters and the fullback out. Two weeks off might help.
It’s my option but they don’t need a 24 game playoff. Gardner-Web had 5 losses and Five other teams were 7-4 including North Dakota and some of the 1st round games weren’t even close to bother with..
