College Game Day is unwatchable with Pat McAfee. He is knowledgeable but totally sucks the air out of the show. He overwhelms Kirk H. and Desmond H. It was always my favorite pregame show and I no longer watch.

He’s a but that’s what sells these days. People don’t want to be informed, they want to be entertained.

I have an odd respect for a guy who rode a mediocre standup act and a reputation for running around in tidy whities into a multi million dollar tv contract.

That’s not to say I respect him, because I don’t. I do respect the hustle. I just don’t expect him to have the staying power of a Dan Patrick or Jim Rome.

I’ve only seen him a couple times, but thought his style to be much better suited for “professional” wrestling .
I watch ESPN for sporting news, but the “analyst” portions of those shows are merely opinions which I find to be meaningless, and a waste of my time.

I realized this a while back and just stopped watching them altogether.
