Interesting. I know some had issues with him but I never did.
It said he started doing the games in 2000, anyone know who it was before him?
Did Steve Jones do it before he started doing radio?

Agree. Didn't hate them but his voice & delivery left much to be desired.

Somewhat mixed feelings as he seems like a nice guy and a "Penn Stater." That said, I won't miss his voice and drawn-out delivery.

Hopefully Penn State can find a stadium announcer that can do a great Pat Summerall (in his prime) impression. My fear is that his replacement will be

He also was (is ?) a long time meteorologist at Accuweather. He provided the forecast for years on a few Lehigh Valley radio stations through Accuweather. Then, one day he just disappeared.

EDIT: just read the article. Obviously still there, just not handling the Lehigh Valley, I guess.

Yeah. Or when it's "Thiiiiird doooown". Or when the Penn State defense is on the filed. I heard him say that after a change of possession. "The Penn State defense is now on the field". He must have felt he needed to tell us or otherwise we wouldn't have noticed.

I didn't open the article but saw that Cory dipshiite made this quote so won't believe it until someone with credibility reports on this. Also, word on the street is that new AD is also cleaning house like the new president is doing. Hopefully these are changes for the better but not how I feel about people who bleed Blue and White get canned.

I know when I was a Fr/SO... he MC'ed the old TailGreat Pre Game at the Jordan Center (even though that was the same thing almost every week, i do miss it). Then when Steve Jones went to radio, he took over at the stadium.

Heard Pat Kraft is actively pursuing Merrill Reece as DeVore's replacement. Word is that Kraft is looking to snare him away from the Eagles with an NIL package worth millions and possibly bringing in Mike Quick too as part of a package deal. Reece's agent Drew Rosenhaus is refusing to comment.
