Dumb or cool? Think if you're just there for the atmosphere and vibes (and want better food/drink/bathrooms) it's a cool idea. To watch the game, not as much. Mixed reviews on these it seems since at $142,000 a pop, they're mostly not for your average fan.

After the announcement that Beaver Stadium would be renovated, ICA sent out a survey to ticket holders to judge the appeal of various types of seating. One was the ground level suites. I responded I had zero interest in them because the view would suck. Not that I'd be able to afford them, but they asked my opinion. Apparently, many others felt the same way. I hope PSU doesn't decide to squeeze some in later. There doesn't seem to be a good place to put them anyway.

I'll await the final product, but the OSU ones look like modular trailers you'd see at an overcrowded school.

Oh, I am hearing they will be coming to Beaver Stadium sometime as well. Did you see all the other ridiculous money grab things people can pay for? Like attending post game press conf for $2K+ or help Beaver Stadium ground crew set up for the game for $2K+

Tosu should just dig down like their incestuous lovers from the north. That way the Gates of Hell can sell tickets like they do in MI.

I watched a UPenn game last October from the end zone field level Letterman’s tent at Franklin Field and like all field level views you miss action going toward or away from you, but see many of the holes opening for gains. The view is enjoyable as a novelty but I would not want to have that for every game.

People who travel in those circles are at a game because "that's the place to be." Be seen, meet future business contacts and often to entertain clients. If they wish to watch the game, I suspect there are a proliferation of TV screens at their disposal. We should all be crushed that once again Bucky is Trumping us. I was so looking forward to bragging about the Beaver Stadium Luxury Boxes....at least we finally have culture.:sneaky::unsure::cry:

It is becoming a 2nd rate travelling carnival.

But hey, they did sell out the "Tunnel Club" (at least I believe they said they did) so people will - clearly - buy anything.

Couldn't find the words so thanks for this.

Another thought, since hotels are hard to come by they should put hotel rooms somewhere in the stadium that have a view of the field(like I think the Toronto Blue Jays have) so the big spenders can eat, drink, sleep PSU football for the weekend without leaving the stadium. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

Where would they put these suites. Its not like there is extra room in the endzones at field level, only really by the student section but with the number of people, cheer and dance teams, and media on the field during games there isn't any place to really put them.

There are two suites in the tunnel leading out to the field if you can afford them. They are pretty nice if you want to spend all game inside or pregame inside. They open 2 hours prior to kickoff and give you a chance to watch the team run on to the field.

Apparently many seat holders also have other seats in the stadium ( one would assume in the boxes or club )

Way beyond our price range or interest level but they are available should anyone want to pony up.

This reeks of desperation. T™️osu is trying so hard just to matter. Pathetic.

I prefer the Buckeye set up to tunnel suites. Would be fun for like three minutes when the team walks but otherwise you’re in a tunnel for the game (if you don’t have other seats).

I just heard about that today. Coming soon - virtual bidding during the game for the right to call the plays during a series.

Not certain, but I believe you have to have other seats as well. The tunnel seats are just an incredibly expensive add on but again, way above the experience we are looking for.

If I had that kind of money to throw around, I'd choose one of these three:
-First choice: a quarter in the radio broadcast booth.
-Second choice: Conduct a song with the Blue Band.
-Third Choice: Prep the locker room with the equipment team.
