When the NCAA DEMANDS that Cal retract his win celebration then lets KU, Zona and UofL break EVERY NCAA rule and they get NOTHING, it's beyond RIDICULOUS!!!
UK paid a HUGE price for something that was NEVER actually proven in the 80's, yet these other schools(UNC and those listed above) BLATANTLY break the law and STILL get less of a penalty, if ANY, than we did.

Kentucky got absolutely hammered for someone allegedly finding 1k. Meanwhile arizona arranged ayton 500x that amount! And Wade offered a lot, multiple schools offered bowen a lot. Zion was shopped. Kansas/self basically admitted to it on wiretap. Pearl cheated again and had his assistant take the wrap. UNC got away with their academic scandal. Meanwhile UK got in trouble with Cal's win record. Ulis was suspended for taking a photo with Drake. They investigated terrence jones after the accident right before the 2011-12 season. They went digging into bledsoe transcript. They investigated and suspended wall. Suspended kanter forever even after paying money back. Obviously we don't know exactly if there is any cheating in Lexington. Everyone claims Sandy Bell keeps everything beyond reproach. You'd think she would have to based on the investigations into miniscule things. But it is absolute irrefutable fact that Arizona, kansas, lsu, auburn, unc, etc. have openly cheated and nothing!
I've said it before. The selective punishment that has come out from ncaa since emmert took over will kill the ncaa. The small schools will start to openly cheat and when they are "punished" they will threaten a lawsuit while doubling down on their cheating and the ncaa will back down. And then it is open season....

I agree the entire Justice System and FBI are total jokes. We have two separate justice systems, one for the elites and powerful politicians and one for the rest of us.
The NCAA and member institutions generate way too much money to be held accountable by the FBI. Unless of course they are an insignificant little college in the boon docks. They might get hammered.

Have been saying for a while we live in a different world now and cheaters get by with everything. Nothing will be done to these schools.
If the NCAA lets all the cheaters skate , the organization needs to be shut down and that joke of a chairman Emmert ran out of town on a rail. Seriously , why even attempt to follow their rules if the Jailhawks, L$U, Auburn , Arizona, and UofSmell get off just like UNCheat did .
Personally, I think the writer doesn't quite understand things. There is a huge difference between NCAA violations and criminal acts. The proving of each is even more difficult. As I said when the FBI news broke, there won't be anyone else getting in trouble. If they really had someone else on the radar they wouldn't have given out so much detailed information. Also, just because the FBI has evidence doesn't mean the NCAA can get it from them. In fact, I think the FBI has said they can't have it. Pitino, Wade and most of the others are going to be hammered by the NCAA. Clearly the FBI couldn't prove criminal conduct with most of them. I have no idea why everyone is up in arms about this. The process isn't over yet.

I believe UNC's fake classes for athletes makes all other transgressions referenced above pale in comparison. Paying players, while against the rules, is something many feel ought be done, after all. It's certainly debatable. But UNC made a mockery of the concept of a University as an institution of higher learning and the notion that the players - while amateurs - are in fact being compensated with a college education.
IMHO, the only scandal that surpasses UNC's is Baylor/Dave Bliss.

If they were after UK and Duke, they would have wiretapped Nike execs instead of Adidas.
If nothing significant is done, the NCAA is done. They know this. Who is the cheater who got away with it besides UNCheat and they used a loophole like the cowards they are.
It should take about 15 minutes to prove cheating.
Damned if I would. If cheating is the norm, then we're only cheating ourselves by holding ourselves to a higher standard.
