ok, on a serious note,

Can our OL actually play up to snuff for the entire game? Do you think Stein will help out Wood and put a RB or TE over there to help out the left side?

Will any WR start to separate from the others (Besides Darby).?

Will Stein be able to hold Punting tryouts? I mean, we have to have someone available on campus that can kick more than 30 yards?

It’s hard for equal or better talent to win there. I’m 100% in on this team but this is a very tall order for this group. Any given Saturday though……..

My only hope is that Bama is a top 5 type team and that no one else on the schedule is. I think LSU is a top 5 team, but hopefully No one else is.

We're right there and this is the week it all comes together. Still probably a close loss, 35-31. After that, there's a decent chance we could win out except for maybe LSU. We're very good as the 1st half showed on Saturday. We won that half but lost the 2nd. Game was actually very close, and we were right there.

Have u looked at Indianas schedule? Pretty confident they make the playoff.

Love the optimism.

Calling the drug treatment center is what you should do with those predictions. We win 3 or 4 of the next 10 games tops.

At a and m was alwaus gonna be a big challenge. Probably 2nd straight double digit defeat and wont surprise if its 20 plus like Bama.
I can see something like a 56 to 10 beatdown or worse there. Bama was number 12 on our field. Playing a better team on their field could be really ugly. If they surprise me I will be the first to admit I was wrong, but I strongly feel like this will be one you dont want to waste your day watching. I will listen on the radio though.

A&M is a tough place to play at. It'll be beatdown so at least there will be no crushed spirits in a close one.

Those defensive stats are atrocious. I was at least hoping for decent offensive stats to offset though… Let’s see if we can put up a respectable performance Saturday.

We can hang with A&M. Have to play clean and keep the offense on the field longer. Good news is that A&M doesn't have Bama's defense. Bad news, they run the ball better.

I think we are gonna lose, probably by a couple of touchdowns, but when was the last time A&M has won a big game? I don’t remember and they aren’t on the top level of SEC teams historically. They don’t scare me.

TN could be close to top 10, OK, FL, SC, MO, A&M will be ranked. VU and Louisville will be tough. It will get better in 2027 and we should be an 8 - 4 minimum won/Loss in 2028.

Stoops hung in there with Texas last year and won a couple conference games.

I think this staff and team can do at least that.

Whether or not we see it Saturday, who knows?

Doboer was coaching for his job.

Also, I say this often, a cup cake to start off the season does the team no good. Alabama can do it because their O and D are practicing against one another all summer.

We never have the luxury of practicing against a top tier unit all offseason like the big boys.

Someone in charge of scheduling has got to get us a look out of the gate, if not a couple.

Either move UL back to kickoff season, or take a chance with cutting a cupcake and picking up a middle tier p4.

Historically we are not ready for conference play. Stoops got lucky with some down Fla, SC, and Missouri plus 2 OOCs to start off a lot of seasons during his tenure.

Then things always went to pot about second or 3rd week of October.

Last week was a classic case of Alabama responding a bit differently than Youngstown. One you can get up on and pull away. The other is going to get pissed off and buck.

The squad wasn’t ready for a good bucking.
