Louisville baseball commit. His wheels are an amazing attribute. Inside the park homer in 1st round of state tournament, went around the bases in some sort of world record time.

No, he is definitely going to play college football. There are people who "know things" about UK and the FB staff who say this kid has a chance to play on Sundays.
At this point it would be more surprising if Fryman did not end up at UK. He and Sean Fox should be the next 2 commits.

His professional future is in football, Stein said he’s the type of kid who will get drafted on day one. Can already see Nawrot connecting with him for a TD on a 60 yard go route.

Yes, Fryman to UK seems pretty likely but I meant that Crawford (LB) committing elsewhere while Fox (LB) is trending UK was a sign.
What is happening at Alabama? Never thought I would see the day that Alabama was recruiting this poorly. Maybe it's a bit early to count them out.
They only have 8 commits and one is a kicker which basically doesn't give you any points.
He is fast as hell. I believe he won the 100 meter dash last year for small schools in Kentucky. I watched him play quite a bit. Great hands and cuts on a dime. I believe he already committed to play Baseball for Louisville
Tyler Fryman of Beechwood is introduced as the boys athlete of the year at the Cincinnati Enquirer High School Sports Awards - meaning from Hamilton, OH in the North to Union, KY in the South, across all sports. Not many multi-sport guys these days. Ponatoski was another last year.
I’d like to see him help both the Bat Cats and the FB team.

Probably waiting on a ton of high ranked kids to decide or have decided the transfer portal is a safer bet.
My buddy is a big Bama fan. He said they are only taking 15 HS kids this year and focusing on the portal. I guess that's the Kiffen effect.
Not a bad strategy to already take kids who are proven and have college weight training for a couple years.
What does the changing nature of recruiting mean for Kentucky this weekend? Thirteen of this weekend’s 14 official visitors have already committed to the Cats. On the day after the opening weekend of OVs, the Wildcats picked up three commitments. That is impossible this go-around.

The two-sport star is a longtime UofL baseball commit, but he already has met many of the guys who will be officially visiting this weekend. Jake Nawrot, Brady Hull, and a few others were in Lexington two weeks ago and cut away from campus to meet Fryman at the KHSAA State Baseball Tournament

There has been some chatter that there may be a surprise visitor or two this weekend.
Personally, I think that’s the best way to build a title contender. You have proven college players that have produced. A lot of times you are simply projecting with HS recruits. But I’m sure getting guys from the portal are more expensive than HS players. I’m sure Stein knows we don’t have as big a budget as the SEC powers and he wants continuity and to build team culture so he can hopefully hold onto these guys at a discount.
That’s what Indiana has done. They got commitments from 3-4 star guys who had been in college even at lower levels. Juniors and seniors who fit what they wanted under Cignetti. He’s a great coach obviously, but it was a solid plan and worked immediately.
