Probably a bit too soon to be discussing this but why not...who are some of your favorites to win it all in each class?
CLASS A
For the first time in years, there is not a clear-cut favorite in this class. There are 6 different teams that I can think of who wouldn't surprise me if they took the gold. Omaha North is my go to as of now. Hard to bet against the Vikings and coach Martin.
CLASS B
It's hard to beat a team twice in a year, let alone a good team, in the playoffs as well. I think Gretna and Skutt meet up in the semis. Skutt squeaks one out and sets up a rematch of last year's epic final vs. Elkhorn South where the Storm will win a 3rd straight title.
CLASS C-1
The top of this bracket is loaded. Norfolk Catholic has their work cut out for them, but I think they make it to Lincoln where they meet up with dark horse Boone Central/Newman Grove. NC gets the gold and coach Bellar adds another title to his name.
CLASS C-2
This class is the only one that I cannot put my thumb on one single team to win it all. I'm just going to spit into the wind and say Valentine shocks C2 and takes the title.
CLASS D-1
I think Creighton breaks the semi-final curse and makes it to Lincoln from the east where they meet up with Kenesaw. Creighton wins in a nail-biter.
CLASS D-2
If only Falls City Sacred Heart vs. BDS could happen in the championship. The winner of this game will take it all. I'm predicting a BDS championship.
6-MAN
