The win over Cal.

But the biggest win for Pope since he's been here is the Duke game at the beginning of his first season. When he called that defensive help play on Flagg, convinced he would spin back to his right in the closing seconds -- well, I thought we had a genius on our hands. But...then we didn't.

BTW, in case you missed it, Flagg was 17 years old when that happened. The announcers touched on it a time or two during the game.

When Oweh put on his cape (one last time) to win the Santa Clara game and give us our "Magic Moment" - I knew we were doomed to lose to Iowa State. And it happened.

But I doggedly kept saying "screw them, they can't take away our magic moment - cue the replay of Oweh, ***** ! " we left 'em with that big middle finger to their face. Then we got to see puke get punked, choke, and blow at the same time and fail to get to the Final Four, again, with one of the best players and rosters in the nation. HA, screw puke.

The main goal for me every year ( after UK getting to hang #9) is getting puke the hell out of the tournament asap.

.... oh well, for me, that was well enough.

Second place was sweeping the Vols. Especially the one we stole in hardKnoxville. I guess that's 2A AND 2B.

Well done enough

It’s hard to beat a NCaAT buzzer beater for OT. But since that probably solidified a 3rd season for pope I’m going with beat Calipari. Our pathetically low expectations are showing.

Pope will never be successful as long as he’s ok with losing. To be successful at UK you can’t just want to win. More importantly you have to hate losing. A 60% winning percentage does not reflect that.

All the comebacks were great but the single greatest moment was Oweh draining that three against Santa Clara. And I swear the thought that went through my mind right before Oweh released the shot was "Oweh usually gets close on these..."

Although this past season was really hard to watch and was one of the worst teams we've had in my time here, it had it's moments. Somethings to remember.

The Arkansas game
Both Vols wins
comeback win against LSU
Santa Clara in the tournament

and for some, there are more, too, like St. John;'s ... and JQ and "what if's forever"

and just to be factful, no matter how bad we might suck at least we don't suck, blow and bite like Indiana. We didn't lose to the last bubble team for the Loosiers the will probably ever have, considering they got the "Movement" to open up the tournament to even more half dead / half alive teams.

Hey, it's all about money. Hoosier fans will spend $$$ just getting into the tournament, and they need to get teams with a pulse, right ? LOL

Go Big Blue !
