My Board has died, So I figured I try joining this one.

With that said I'd like to share some quotes from Idiot Central. As of today this is what they think of the UNC/Duke player match-ups.

Brought to you by challenger2

If Seventh and Robinson can hold their own against Dukes' freshmen on the AAU circuit, what makes people think they can't in college? All our freshmen is better than I thought. Seventh Woods went head to head with Dennis Smith when he was healthy. He is not going to be trembling because of any of Dukes guards.

Bolden or Giles whomever will not just dominate Meeks or Bradley at the five. Giles is going to need to help at the five.

Hicks want be dominated by anybody on Duke. Somebody thinks Hicks is just a freak athlete. Hicks is a senior that came to UNC at 6'8 218. He started out playing the 3 but now has blossomed into a 6'9 242 pound grown man. I went back and checked his class in 2013. The RSCI had Hicks rated 12 and his final rankings fell to 14. Chris Jenkins, Frank Mason, Josh Hart and even Wisconsin's guard all improved from that 2013 class. Brice Johnson blossomed as a senior. The bottomline, Hicks has just as much talent.

Justin Jackson is a top ten recruit. This is his third year in College while Tatum hasn't played a game. He better worry more about defending Jackson. This isn't highschool son. He probably reading about himself too much.

As far as Grayson Allen, Joel Berry is still the best recruit out of the state of Florida.

I would never take Jefferson over Hicks and that is a fact. Amile plays hard but he does not have the talent or size Hicks has. When Amile Jefferson faces an elite player with the talent of Hicks we can revisit it. Does he have a mid range touch like Hicks? Is he explosive on offense and get above the rim like Hicks? Is he as good of a free throw shooter like Hicks? Does he run the floor like Hicks? This is a prediction for you. Lets see who has better stats when the regular season is over. I've seen Hicks score 21 points against Syracuse a Final Four team. What was it, 19 in the second half on the road? A double double against Notre Dame in the Tournament.

We just disagree. Hicks will dominate Jefferson if the refs let them play. Amile cheats a lot because he is a Dookie. If the refs quit calling tic tack fouls on Hicks, Amile is toast. Amile should have fouled out against Kansas but the ref stepped in

Is he has a ability to make sense like Hicks?

He must be really challenged in many ways. That is one of the dumbest post I've ever seen. Way to pick it up. OFC

It's starting to get pretty good over there between Gary and Billy. For the record every point that Billy makes about Gary being full of crap and having no real connections whatsoever is the most true thing ever typed on THR

I really hate the fact that my fanbase has the biggest fraud in the history of message boards. We really don't want him anymore. Any takers?

In all seriousness, I'm glad Billy called him out on his ****. The OOTB has no use for him.

Forgive me Mikey for starting another Duke thread but I just can't help myself. I can't be rehabilitated! When K does something stupid I feel it it's my obligation to let the board know about it. I was watching portions of the Duke/Appalachian State game yesterday and K-Rat made one of the most selfish moves I have ever seen him make.

Trip was on the bench with 4 fouls and Duke up 35 points. Trip was nursing a sore toe coming into the game. K-Rat puts Trip back in the game and he hurts his toe badly! Can anyone justify this selfish move by K-Rat! He is so freakin selfish! The man has three 5-star freshman sitting on the bench not playing and he puts the POY candidate back on the floor when it is completely uncalled for. The man can't see the forest for the trees folks due to his selfishness. This is a selfish man who convinced Trip come back to school when Trip was projected first round pick last year. Trip is now projected as second rounder.

Note the 54 -second mark on this video when Trip gets hurt.

Oh man another guy with some serious albeit anonymous inside sources. So jealous we don't get those types of scoops around here.

Just for our curiosity sake what board died. Like to know something about you. OFC

The Duke scout board. The Devils Den merged with The Devils Lair at 247 sports.

Now there is nobody running the Duke scout site. The board is generically called "Devils digest" I'd guess that traffic there has dropped 80%.

This. I really liked the inside information from Premium there but all the guys with the connections left to the new site.

The new site they use is not very appealing and its also blocked at my work. Needless to say I prefer this one over the new site. Seems like a lot of good people here.

Hopefully one of you guys has quotes or screens of Gary being called out in his stats thread. It has since been deleted.

I saw it but I didn't screen shot it. There doesn't appear to be a point in fighting with Gary because he reverts to what can only be described as grade school name calling tactics. He usually responds by calling the other person something demeaning or declaring the person too stupid to understand his logic. He then posts his vague argument with anonymous sources again and waits til the other person gives up before he moves on. It's a "if I scream really loud and laugh at the other persons response and have the last word I don't need to have any substance" style of arguing.

I can't remember which poster it was but they mentioned the clique over at THR (we all know who they are) and I believe it was Steat that responded with there isn't a "click" (as he put it) on THR.

But the men's bball team had no involvement in the decades long academic scandal. DSouthr, gary, Archer, mikeirbyusa, Steat, etc....have all confirmed it. Down with the women's checkers team though!!! Lol.

Another term for turn over. OFC

Yes, gary came up with this in his warped mind in order to help him deal with his beloved Joel Berry when he commits a turnover. Have never seen anything like it. Gotta give old gar an A for creativity, though!

What in the hell is a blown assist anyway? Never even heard of that term

Yeah I dont get it. I do appreciate his write ups..sometimes. but I cringe whenever he talks about Berry. The kid is good enough without Gary having to make up stats and come up with non existant categories to make him look better. Its bizarre to say the least. Also, Why anyone doesnt ask how he manages to be more correct all the time than the official scorekeeper is mind boggling lol.

It is a made up stat to try and make a guys numbers look better and prop them up in a conversation as to why someone thinks a player is so good. Of course, those of us that deal with realities breeze right past this fluff stuff and stick to what is actually happening on the court. Do guys miss open shots after being passed to? Of course it is basketball. However if you say that one guy lost assists because of that, then you have to factor in everyone else who doesn't get credit for an assist after a guy missed a shot.

Gary being Gary is all. He is running a make believe statistic campaign over there it looks like. Whatever helps you sleep at night I guess. I wonder if he had to kiss the ring before going ahead with this initiative?

IT's a "would've" "could've" "should've" stat. It's meaningless.
