I believe Dave is going off the deep end. Whatever he's smoking he should think about taking a break from it.
I don't think it's what he is smoking as that stuff makes you pretty happy with what everyone says about practically anything. It could be cheap $6 a bottle rot gut booze as that will make anyone argumentative when challenged like Dsouthr seems to be. He could just be ultra defensive of everyone getting on his case about being a know it all just like Gary is getting.

Two things. Tatum is better than Jackson. Right now. Two, tell Gary I talked with Zion Saturday at the Skillet. When I told him I hoped his decision was Duke he cut a big smile at me and nodded yes. Hope this helps.

Good Lord, Show, I hope to God that head nod REALLY meant something.

I'm just going to believe you're screwing with me right now.
He's being straight up with you. That's how Show shoots, straight from the heart. This time he speaks from the heart and mind. I agree and I don't even think it's close between him and Justin Jackson. Tatum is one of those players who plays the game and you think he's scored about 10 points and you look at the box score and he's dropped 20. He's going to be tough to defend. Good Luck!

Jackson is a good player....but this upcoming season is make-or-break for him. If he's not a first-round pick next June he never will be. That said....I, along with everyone else, like Tatum's game more.

I was not at CTC and am only going on what I hear about Tatum but it sounds like gary and his boys are in for a shock when they get a load of Tatum once the season starts. They still try and talk Justin Jackson up as their big 5 star STAR. Sorry, guys, he is far from what you hoped he would be when he came in as a freshman. His still being there as a junior is proof enough of that.

I'm also loving how DSouth is so perplexed by the idea of PJ Washington and Jarred Vanderbilt both being interested in Kentucky and the possibility that both end up there. He can't seem to comprehend how two 5-star recruits who play the same position would end up at Kentucky. Uh....

2009 - John Wall and Eric Bledsoe (2 5-star point guards)
2010 - Terrence Jones and Enes Kanter (2 5-star power forwards)
2013 - Julius Randle and Marcus Lee (2 5-star power forwards)
2015 - Isaiah Briscoe and Jamal Murray (2 5-star point guards)
2016 - Bam Adebayo, Wenyen Gabriel, and Sacha Killeya-Jones (3 5-star power forwards)

I know it. He just cannot wrap his dumb brain around it. I believe it is more due to his warped mind trying to convince himself that the Holes will get whichever one doesn't go to UK. Makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I think he might have been talking about Show screwing around with him about Zion smiling and nodding his head as if to say YES?? Because it sounds like the Tatum/Jackson thing isn't even up for debate.

Can't remember if I posted this before but just ran across it over there again. DSouthr, as usual, trying to discredit K as USA Head Coach. Isn't he just soooo clever!!

Sk1310 said:
"So your telling me K just hands the ball over to the best players in the world and says "go play". Wow, dude is smart."

DSouthr:
"Yeah, that is pretty much what those players were saying, don't worry about passing the ball, just go take it one on one and out talent the other guy, no need for me to have you run actually structured sets & stuff, you guys don't need a coach, so I am gonna lead ya from way over there and if you guys need me I will be over there looking like I am pissed at something and ready to cuss out a ref. By the way, anyone know any spanish cuss words, I don't think they speak polish? LOL."

I'm not kidding about either. I spoke with Zion at the Skillet while Jon Scheyer was speaking with his parents. Put my hand on his shoulder and said " Big man, I hope it's Duke for you." He cracked a big smile and nodded yes. I'm not saying that means he's some kind of lock but it's EXACTLY what happened. And if he thinks I'm kidding that Tatum is better than Jackson, well, his *** will have the painful misfortune of seeing the proof of that.....real soon.

They all are just pulling your leg. Zion is an unc lock. hof coach roy williams gave him a bowl of wanda's "nanner puddin" and hof coach roy williams promised him he would get four years of pt at unc and would not make him go into the NBA early. The four years sealed the deal and the announcement is coming real soon. If you don't believe me just ask guru gary-7. He will clear it up. OFC

Ha-ha , I'm so glad they have DSouthr over there, he ruins almost every thread now, it's hilarious. One of their posters has even created a DSouthrisdumb entity now. LOL!

DSouthr is now writing novels to explain why he writes novels as per every post. Some things you can't make up, you just sit back and enjoy as pure entertainment. UNC fans arguing with UNC fans about each and every topic is hilarious

We have had our moments here just like that. LOL. It is so much better when it is other fans doing it though.

DSouthr said:
"re-establish that NY pipeline we used to work so well in."

dadika:
"I'd love it but it may have gotten too dirty up here. All of the major AAU teams up here (Playaz, Gauchos, etc.) have handlers ALL over them. You go to the games and it feels like a grease factory with all the slime. It's awful.

The only recent kid you could get near was KAT but his father was so obsessed with his NBA career that UK was really the only choice."

Those darn handlers screwing things up for the Holes yet AGAIN!

I am not sure what UNC fans expect in this day of recruiting. Almost every high profile recruit has a support system. Whether that be family or people looking out for them, they are there. This is also not a new thing. Just because your program can't get these big time recruits, it doesn't mean that these support teams in pace are bad people. They are looking out for the interests of the recruits and their future. (most of the time. again there are bad eggs, but far from the majority)

Roy is still recruiting these types and anyone who tells you they back off because of "handlers" knows very little about recruiting. Even those with a "coaching mafia" know this. Despite what they say on a free message board.

For the record I was talking about Zion. Justin's a solid player, but as to whether he's better than Tatum...let's just say I'm skeptical if you catch my drift.

Well whoop de ****** doo. Congrats on another future OAD that passed on our LNWR in favor of our two crosstown rivals.

Of course you had the usual spin doctors trying to play it down on THR.

Joking aside, I don't think he's a lock to anyone yet, but the fact that he didn't come to our late night and he went to duke's doesn't bode well.

Yeah, there's a long ways to go with Zion, but I don't think Duke would trade their position right now with anybody. Of course, there's been recruits we've said that about before and have lost.

I have watched Jackson the last few years and I was there live Saturday night to watch CTC. Let's just say after what I saw Saturday, it's really not even close. If any Unx fan doesn't believe that, like Show said, they are going to find out real soon.

What is up with the google search? Every time I type in Tar heel radar, Tar Heel Reader pops up. If I click too fast, I select it and the verse, " A Corn fell from the sky" appears. Corn doesn't fall from the sky, who would say that???? I need to get this fixed!

Tatum is the superior player and it's not really close. I think Jackson is a good player too. Tatum as i said in the CTC thread was the best player on the court on saturday night.

I think Tatum is ahead of where Ingram was at this time last year and we know where Ingram went in the draft. I can't imagine Giles being better, but can't wait to find out.

But Justin has also been a bit of a disappointment for you boys. He is nothing near as special as he was touted coming out of high school. Roy's big 5 star stud from that year is just whatever. Jayson Tatum will own his *** as a FRESHMAN. Enjoy.
