Their baseball team got me thinking, since they (baseball) are the biggest group of punks and whiners I’ve ever seen, are their any UT athletes that you actually liked? Maybe have a favorite?

Was tough to think of one in basketball, although I do respect Vescovi and would love a guy like him at UK.

I guess I’d probably go with Peyton Manning.

Rodney Woods. Bell County native that did well there and is quite an accomplished high school coach in the state. If you can check out his team, Wayne County play do so. Well coached team that always plays hard.

I absolutely love Peyton Manning. Don’t care if he was a Vol. Everyone is allowed at least one huge mistake in life. Right?

I didn’t despise Dale Ellis. Although, he did cause me to get grounded in 4th grade when I threw the remote & broke it into pieces after he scored 22 & they beat us by 2 in 83.

Nah. Peyton is a class act. Hard to remember he’s from that God awful crap hole. But sometimes a person’s personality doesn’t reflect their surroundings.

I mean. Tim Tebow and Aaron Hernandez were on the same team, coached by one of the biggest ******** in history. Tebow is about as nice a dude as you can know. Hernandez is dead and killed a dude. Go figure.

As far as favorite? I don’t have one per se. But if I have to I’ll say Scotty Hopson. He’s from Hopkinsville so I’ll back my crew from my hometown.

Peyton Manning for sure, really enjoyed his career and he was hilarious on SNL pegging the young children with the football and talking mad **** to them.

Peyton has learned what Tom Brady hasn’t yet (or hasn’t seemed to completely kick in yet) And that’s don’t take yourself so damn seriously.

Peyton is well liked because he can take a joke at his own expense and has no problem being just Peyton, instead of Peyton Manning, NFL legend.

I mean who doesn’t love the Nationwide commercials with Brad Paisley? They’re funny.

Maybe when Brady finally retires for good he will get it.

Ron Slay was fun to watch. Kind of their version of Boogie - everyone hated him.

He would be at the bottom of my list.

Give me a week, I might be able to think of someone. Probably someone that left early.

He's obviously not a player at Tennessee, but I've always admired their head coach ... Rick Barnes. BTW, Rick played college ball at little Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC. I'd say he's done pretty well for himself!
