Edwards Key Lime, is really good off the shelf from the grocery store. As good as homemade in my opinion.
I wouldn't say I can't stand it, but there are about a dozen other desserts I'm picking ahead of pie. I think the nice thing about pies that it can sit on the counter for about a week and people just keep eating it.
It was too easy. But then my standard response to almost everything is "That's what she said" so you know where my mind automatically goes...
Bingo. Cheesecake with strawberries or raspberries. Warm Cola Cake with fresh vanilla bean ice cream. Brownies with ice cream come to mind.
French Silk Chocolate Pie. My mother started making it for us when I was a little kid and 60 years later my older sister, younger brother and I continue to make it every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I'm not picky about pie, love most all of them. Last meal before the electric chair, I'm going for pumpkin or banana cream.
I do not like pie or cheesecake. Have never developed a taste for either one. Oddly enough the rest of my family like them both.
The best part of chicken. pot pie...is thinking it is finally okay to take a bite of it only to realize that it is still hotter than the sun and burning your mouth but not really caring because it is so good.
Old people do you love the s*** out of that pie. Never tried it, I just can't get past the name.
always get a piece of it when in grand island at the old resteraunt on old hiway 30. merangue is about 4 inches high on top of the pie, made fresh every morning. incredible

Village Pie Maker’s frozen pies available at HyVee are outstanding. They have a strawberry rhubarb.
Their berry medley is awesome. Unfortunately they quit making gooseberry. There are no bad village pie maker pies however my least favorite is their apple nut. Just reloaded the freezer since they were on sale at Allen's in hastings
