Our boy plays his last game at home tonight. We've all been with him through this ride. One of only three Duke players to be 4x All-Academic ACC, something that even Shane Battier didn't do. He will be always remembered in Duke history.

I thought he deserved his own thread and I'd like for you to share your favorite Grayson memories! I'll share mine later!

I will start with the last 5' of the 2015 national championship. I also just loves his post game interviews when he is happy and smiling. Tonight will really drive home my dislike of the OAD. Watching Grayson walk off the Cameron floor for the last time will feel completely different than watching the freshmen do it.

One of the best coach/player moments was last season's acc tournament game with Louisville. Pitino had put a kid in there just to try and rattle Allen. I mean the kid was really poking and antagonizing him. It didn't work. Grayson was playing well.
K took him out a few minutes later. He gave him a big hug, then put him back in a few minutes later. It's like K knew his boy passed the exam.

I have been fortunate to have been at the games in person to watch my favorite Allen moments. 1) 2015 against Wisconsin, Duke does not win without Allen going all out that game, I remember him going after the loose ball and dropping 16 points in that game to make the All Final 4 team. 2) Duke vs MSU in the Final Four semi finals his dunk and yell towards the Duke bench. You could tell his confidence was growing. 3) Duke vs MSU 2017 Champions Classic, he just scorched Sparty notching 37 points. 4) Duke vs Indiana 2017 ACC/Big 10 challenge, the student section from IU started chanting “f*** * Grayson”, coach k looks at Allen and mouths to him “let’s go”, Allen takes over to close the deal, 5) Duke @ Notre Dame 2017, student section is heckling him the whole game and Grayson still stays composed as has a great game in the win against the Irish.

His return after his sophomore and junior year. His love of Duke!
When he came here in the first place. His dream was to play here and when his high school coach thought yea right he busted his tail

I think #1 is the same for all of us. I have never seen something like that from a bench player in such a big game. But a distant second was his buzzer beater against UVA. Definitely appreciate what he has done in his 4 years and will go down as one of my all-time favorites.

Best memory: the Wisconsin game. When we got down 10 with foul trouble I remember thinking we were going to lose and we had a good year. But then he came out of nowhere and brought us back. Worst memory: my coworkers calling him "The daytripper" for 2 years.

Wisconsin is the most obvious one. And it should be....it resulted in another national championship.

My personal favorite is the UVA game his sophomore year. I was at the game and brought my wife to Cameron for her first ever trip. It was also Valentine’s weekend and made for a good date. Lastly, I was sitting in the lounge at Washington Duke that night having a drink and Grayson walked out with this smoke show blonde and took a picture with me.

Other than the 2015 championship game,i dont have any specific moments that stand out for me.it's more of an over all view of him,watching him evolve from a shy freshman who seemed to be a forgotten member of that fantastic recruiting class,he rode the bench alot that year,but was always ready when his number was called.an outstanding sophmore season,followed by a controversial junior season.he stood up and took the criticism like a man.his senior season has been up and down,but the final chapter has not been written.he will not be remembered as the best player ever at Duke,but he may be the most popular one,or at least the most talked about!

The hug last night and his game when we won the Natty. He put the team on his back in 2015 and took us to our 5th banner. The hug last night was very emotional. I shed a few tears. That hug summed up everything that K has meant to him and him to K. I can’t wait to see his jersey in the rafters at Cameron.

Remember him hitting the drive against Wisconsin and on the ground screaming with excitement
