If you are a father, be present in your kids lives especially young men. Raise them up in the way they should go. If you aren’t influencing them, someone will be.

Prayers for Covington County LEO
Is this relative to the emergency warnings I've been getting? Likely.

One of them was the Simpson County model citizen’s brother.

OP…….stop acting like this whole issue is a problem that folks that hang around SPS would encounter with their sons. Enough of that self righteous shlt.

Unless your sons happen to be a cop. He’s a Bulldog too.
I’m confused by your statement. What issue are you referring to that SPS people wouldn’t be around?

Kid you not, I was actually driving on 49 headed toward Collins when all this was going down about 3:30-4 p.m. this afternoon. I have never seen that many cop cars in my life. Had to be at least 50+ come through in a very short amount of time. It was obvious immediately there was some kind of major situation going on.

Us Fathers are now referred to as Non-Gestational Parents. So "Happy Non-Gestational Parents Day" !!
That is what people say around you? Odd.
I haven't heard anyone say that before and will probably die before I hear someone say that phrase.

Unlikely that many, if any, sixpackers have sons they basically don’t raise and to the extent they do, those sons are probably still surrounded by other kids in functional homes, not hanging out with a bunch of kids where having a father in the home is the exception.

Without knowing anything about the situation except a teenager shot a LEO, you can make a pretty good guess on some characteristics and be pretty highly likely to be right. Specifically in reference to the comment above, the shooter most likely is not going to have a father in the home and that absent father is probably not much like anybody hanging out on MSU or any other SEC school’s sports message board.

And more than anything, making fun of the OP. He's either ignorant or too scared to post what he really thinks and wants to troll it out of others.

They have been caught. The names get more surreal.

MOUNT OLIVE, Miss. —
Cortavious Lawayne Hobbs, 18, and Cortavion Dewayne Hobbs, 19, have been located and arrested without further incident in connection with the shooting of a Covington County sheriff’s deputy in Mount Olive.

When the evidence is overwhelmingly clear, there should be limited appeals and almost immediate public execution by hanging along with immediate cremation with no burial rites. The lack of consequences is what produces this wanton violence.

Luigi Mangione, Karmelo Anthony, Koberger (Idaho dude) the dude on the train who killed the Ukrainian woman who's name I can't spell would be good start. Life in prison is a waste of time and resources. Room temperature with extreme prejudice.

ETA: I see where the Supreme Court is debating whether Alabama can use Nitrogen to execute criminals. I find this hilarious. The guy they're debating over killed people and left them to drown in their own blood on the floor of their business in 1998 (28 years ago). Why are we worried about his suffering? I'd vote to make him suffer more. It's ridiculous. Dude should have been pushing up daisies for almost 3 decades.

I have absolutely no idea how people can have sympathy for violent criminals. We want to torture people who cheated on taxes but we'll also march in the streets for violent offenders. Do people just not enjoy safety for themselves? Maybe we have too many people who don't have families, thus don't have much of a stake in the world.

We need to bring back mental institutions for one. Sack up and pay for them. That would have kept the guy who killed the Ukrainian woman off the street. These mental homeless nutjobs walk around assaulting people but they have to kill someone before they'll lock them up for good. It's only a matter of time.

But for the kids, only way you stop it is making them afraid of going to jail. Lot of them are taught a lot of hatred for folks and the cops. I wonder if the stupid parents understand that they are sending the kids directly to jail or death.
