I grew up going to games as a young kid w George Rogers. My dad was an alum. But I went to Furman and MUSC. I did take two summer classes at Carolina, though! Hard to get all the sciences in just 4 years. And with our grants, no way I could have done an extra year at Furman.
About loyalties…a post above said they can’t imagine taking on all this heartache without going to school there. I blame my dad, lol. I married a Bama girl and I’ve got a kid at Bama. I even occasionally wear a Bama hat. But it’s just not the same. I watch Alabama with a hopeful interest. But my heart is still 100% Carolina. Sigh.
