I was there last night. Spent a lot of money for tickets and a hotel room. Fortunately only got tickets and the hotel for last night and not the weekend like many UK fans did. And watched Cal get abused by Stackhouse, our team play scared and Oscar choking at the free throw line. He also had devastating turnovers. The team is a total cluster and his coaching is pathetic. His substitution pattern makes me think he put big money down on Vandy because no one in their right mind would do what he did if he was trying to win the game.

Ummm....Kansas anyone? They seem to have staying power as a contender. Don't blame parity for the **** show that is UK basketball right now.
What??? Who said anything about parity?

The point was about us degrading to that level.

I have friends who are like that. They like to separate their sports life from their romantic life.

Like I said, I wish I could explain it. I’ve had women friends who were into team sports—and I always enjoyed sitting down and having a beer with them, but that’s as far as it went.
I actually get it to be honest
For us we have things that are “our things” as well as “mine or his things “

Funny story, back in my single days, I was at a Super Bowl party at a friends’ house. I was really into the game, and this girl came and sat next to me (I found out through friends she liked me at the time). She was telling me about going to NFL games and breaking down the plays with me. She knew her stuff, and got into the game. She was really nice, and cute (to boot)—unfortunately for her, she had no idea it would have the opposite effect.
