I love Garrett Nelson interviews.
From when he first committed, the kid always lets his character fly.
He’s an important member for a defense semi-void of outspoken leaders.
Yeah, he's a sports reporter's dream to interview and a joy for fan's to listen to.

We need more intense Husker passion guys.
I’m fine with some quiet leaders, and every team will have their balance of characters. But increasing the number of hype-men personalities that absolutely pour their heart and soul into the program I think is what we need to lift the team out of the gutter.

He's not going to be a starter this year.
Oh yeah, that is probably true.

I bet we see him, Nelson and O-Shawn all on the field on 3rd and longs.

Of course, they all struggle to get to the QB still because, well...just because.

Monday's practice was open to the media for the first 20-30 mins.

Whipple and some offensive assistants and players will be up after practice ends.

so nice to see a full practice clip without any rolling left throwing back across the body to the right off balance "highlights"!

CT seems to take his reps seriously & goes full speed, including putting some zip on the ball. that is a very welcome sight!

Someone let me know when the entire team collectively tears all it's ACLs on the same play.

I'll look forward to watching a team made exclusively of walk-ons from Elkhorn and Nemaha

Is it just me or is there still alot of standing around for alot of guys? Seems like quite a bit of wasted time out there.
