I think the question is for what purpose? If he scored a 27, he would have qualified as long as the GPA was 2.3. Getting a better score has no benefit to him, that score gets him into UNL, he isn't competing or an academic scholarship, so there is not a need for a higher score there.

IF he scored a 27 and someone told him to retake, and IF getting a 25 is what got him flagged, he got bad advice. IMHO
Maybe he wanted to see if he could do even better? That's not a bad thing. Flagging the score because he got a 25 after getting a 27 is just stupid. I'd imagine that's an extremely common occurrence so no idea why that would be flagged.

This is me too. I can test like a champ. I hate doing anything for school outside of school. I have better things to do with my time.

I had horrid grades because of homework. I did one piece of homework in highschool, make a homemade boat propel across water...that was fun!

In college I did do homework though. Hated that too.
Tests were definitely the thing that saved my GPA.

I will say that I'm not sure if those were the only 2 times he took it. Just the only scores I saw reported. Maybe he took it another time and got an 18 or 19 and then the 27 threw up some red flags. I really don't know.

Ok.

I’m selling a house with a beautiful ocean view right outside Phoenix, make me an offer.

I tell you what I see. The players at my school, who are struggling to get qualified, aren’t worried about improving on a 27. They glad to be done.

Taking it again does nothing but put up red flags. Especially when the GPA is apparently low. Two things can happen, you score significantly lower and your scores are reviewed or you score the same or higher and your scores are reviewed. Just my experience. Big gaps from GPA to Test Scores are investigated.

I'd rather have a guy on our roster who wants to continue to get better rather than do just good enough then give up because he wants to be done.

There's literally no point for him to take it after the 27. He had a full ride scholly and a 27 is a high score, especially with a low gpa. Even if it were possible to get extra scholarships from academics a 27 would do it. Scoring 28-36 helps him none (and might hurt him with the low gpa).
this isn't a case of `ah shucks i bet I can get a 28 let's take another sat. Morning to take a long boring as test.`

Yeah man if Duval saw that he had eaten pizza rolls by 10:11 am I bet they kicked him off the team then and there. Just can't have that kind of thing, there aren't any hours in the day left to work out or do 7-on-7 and he certainly couldn't have been exaggerating anything for comedic effect.

Maybe he didn't make the 110, but to dredge through the kid's twitter and find one thing about pizza rolls and be like, "BET IT'S BECAUSE HE'S LAZY BECAUSE ONE TIME HE SAID THIS" is just next-level dumb.

Maybe he wants to get into a college that has higher requirements than the university has. If he wants to do engineering or something like that, maybe he does have to have a score around 25 and a higher score is better.

You’re probably right
