My fella has been having a tough go of late, has a cancer that's being held at bay for now but got bit a week and half ago (he's almost way too friendly which gets him in trouble I think), by a smaller dog and a deep infection. He has just recently regained appetite, and has a drain inserted in his leg to get all that yuk goop outta him....hang in there big fella!

He is a rescue and they pegged him at 5-6 when we first took him in and thus likely 9-10 now. He has canine melanoma which has been held back thankfully for a year now through this wonder vaccine which gives him quality of life. It is bloody expensive but he is damn worth it. Our first female was a terror from a pup lol, but so greatly missed...without her we would not have 'Louis', and the wife and I always say 'really, who rescued who here?' He'll be watching the game with me tomorrow barking with every curse and cheer lol
