We are in the cook a pot of soup every year and see how it is. Cal dumps it out and says something is wrong everytime and say I'll cook another one later. 5years later he's still yet to cook up anything other than **** and everyone is tired of smelling it. Win or get the hell out of the way. Quit cooking **** soup every year and making the fanbase eat it.
Very good analogy.

Agree with WeWant9 - The talent does not equal the record!

I am going to infer from your original post that next year's team will have the overall talent to compete/challenge for a championship. Freshmen have a huge adjustment from high school/AAU play to Division 1 college basketball. The only 5 freshmen that carried their team in college to lofty heights were the Fab Five, but they did not win a championship. They were the outlier as there has not been a team in the 30 years since that even relied on 2-3 freshmen as the core of a championship team.

You mentioned (3) 5 star players (Livingston, Wallace, and Collins). Livingston was practically invisible the first two-thirds of the season. Wallace has had a good freshman year, but as you stated, is not capable of taking over a game. Collins is an athlete but far from an average college basketball player. I like Collins personally, but don't think he will ever live up to his potential because of his frame. Livingston and Wallace would improve exponentially with another year and might be capable of being the players to lead the incoming freshmen class.

Next year we could have a team with the core being 5 freshmen. How can UK get back to the team that challenges for the SEC regular season, SEC postseason, and a shot at an NCAA title if we are depending on 18 year old kids to lead us? Unless several players from this year's team return, next year could be a disaster. Plus, even with some returning, who is going to rebound?

Cal is the classic example of what happens when you rest on your laurels. Still thinks he has the Midas touch, but it left him years ago. He thinks he can talk himself out if it with fans, but all it’s done is reveal the fraudulent side of him. Fans see right through it!

This season was an absolute disgrace by UK standards. Period.

Most Cal defenders are either so in love with not being seen as some crazy UK fan at the water cooler or aren’t really UK fans in the first place. Remember, when Tubby started to slide the national media (mostly fired ex-coaches who don’t care for UK) shilled for him. They called us crazy and will do the very same for Cal. They like UK right where we are... No longer elite!

This is his roster. It was poorly built and even more poorly developed this year. This is on Cal.
