He’s *** but I think almost all of them are
We are lucky to have Pike who learned from one of the best and was wise enough to learn both what TO do and what NOT to do

Watch from 7 minute mark to 8 minute mark specifically. What a jerk....classless..

Say what you will, he speaks his truth! Last year he gave RU credit for playing "Bully Ball" which was a compliment to us, I don't agree with everything he says but I find his style refreshing in a world of traditional "Coach Speak"

Think he was implying we’re a battle tested team that’s been through some bad losses and some gut punch heartbreakers in big games and have learned from that.
Nope, Izzo is confused with his timeline. Later in the video Izzo said of Rutgers' core of Paul, Cliff and Caleb, "They've been through the bad times, they've been through the decent times and then last year and this year they've been through the good times."

"Bully Ball" is not a complement. He is basically saying "we have better players but they get by with fouls". Just watched his pregame presser - what a whine feast - really annoying man.

BS. Izzo compared RU to his Flintstone teams which were his best teams. Tough, physical, hard nosed players that never backed down

Izzo is a great coach who constantly is on the refs from the beginning of games to the last play.He doesn't have the talent from previous years which irrates him with every loss.

He is right the way the back down move is officiated is ridiculous, if the defender and offensive player are facing each other it’s either a charge or block, this seems to all change when the offensive player is backing down the defender, basically if you can use your body mass to push the defender back out of the way this is ok? at least let the defender arm bar the guy initiating the contact.
