ESPN's matchup predictor says we have a 58.9% chance of beating Illinois on Dec 7. Who has a view on why?

They lost at home to the Gophers and got obliterated by Oregon, and they really only have one good win at home over Michigan?

Well... if they're sending out their football team to play us in basketball, that could at least partially explain why we might be favored.

Illinois has a lot of new faces. Perhaps the experts think they will not have come together yet. It's probably an advantage for us to get them early.
