Have we over/under achieved your expectations through 4 games vs your preseason expectations? Mine are on par. Didn't expect to blow out LSU, but surely didn't expect to be blown out by UGA.

Exceeded. I thought it we started the season 3-2, we had a chance to make a nice midtier bowl and springboard ourselves to a preseason top 20 team in 2018.

Playing with house $ next week, IMO.

We've exceeded my preseason pick through 4. Figured we would be 2-2. I thought we would win 1 of this 3 game stretch and be 3-2 after the first 5 so I'm on track more or less.

Preseason expectations have been exceeded, but those have changed significantly since even before the LSU game. My "revised" predictions are on par with where we currently are.

Preseason, I expected 7-5. I thought we'd lose to Bama, lose all 3 to LSU-UGA-Auburn, and split A&M / Ark one way or the other while winning the rest.

After week 2, when it was blatantly obvious how terrible A&M and Arkansas were (in addition to OM who was already known to suck) and how mediocre the rest of the West was outside Alabama, I upgraded my position to 9-3. Lose to Bama, win one out of 3 vs. LSU-UGA-Auburn (check), win both against A&M and Arkansas. We are right on track with that right now.

One thing that is weird is that Mullen has never gone 7-5 or 9-3. He's hit every final record between 5-7 and 10-2 besides those. So its kind of weird that both of my predictions would be Mullen firsts if they actually happened.

We are right on schedule for my predictions. I had us going 8-4 with losses to Georgia, Auburn, Arkansas, and Bama.

Record wise, on par, because I expected 3-1. Defense is still better than I expected.

Not throwing in towel yet. Road games are always tough, because mistakes can snowball. First 17n play was a 6 yard loss, that hyped the crowd up, which resulted in false start, which resulted in quick 3 and out, and immediate UGA score. Once it was 14-0 that game was done. That wasn’t a game where we could afford to get down two scores and come back.

Traditionally, we should be an easy 2-2. Aside from being ahead of expectations, poor effort on a team that gameplanned to take advantage of our nature. That part doesn't really seem debatable. That uga staff broke our staff down. Still not trading grantham. Uga just knew how to exploit him and did so repeatedly. Contrary to the rest of the season, they seemed a step ahead. Hey, it happens

I think our schedule going forward is probably significantly more difficult than people give it credit for. Winning 2/3 against UK, Arkansas, and A&M is far from a lock, and Auburn and Bama are near locks for losses. I'm still not willing to count the Egg Bowl as anything but a toss up, if nothing else based on what we thought was a sure win for Ole Miss at this point last season. You better believe at some point they are going to say 17 it and start prepping for that game well in advance ala 2014.

Fitz has to control himself better than what he does in front of hostile crowds. It takes him waaaay too long to get his **** together.

8-4 with a shot at 9-3 if they get their **** together. Arky and Texas A&M are hot garbage. Kentucky isn't getting credit from me for beating bad teams. When it mattered last night they were still Kentucky. No one covered the WR on the play they scored in the end zone. Literally no one in a crucial part of the game.

Before the season, I thought if we make it to a bowl game, it's a good season. We are halfway there. I will have much higher expectations next season.

On that note, I would like to say that I was proud of the fact that we got into a bowl game because of our efforts in the classroom last season, considering the fact that other programs were being investigated for academic fraud.

It still looks like 8-4 is most likely, and I expected 1-2 in this three game stretch...so we are right where I thought we'd be.

I was thinking we had about a 50% chance of winning one out of Georgia and lsu. So we're actually on the optimistic side of my expectations.

Now bama and auburn look like sure losses.

Ark and A&M and Kentucky look like losable games although I think we should be slight favorites in all of them. I think 8-4 with 7-5 and 9-3 still on the table.

I have us at 8-4. Auburn L; BYU W; Kentucky W; A&M W/L; UMass W; Alabama L; Arkansas W/L; Ole Miss W.

i put A&M and Arkansas at W/L because I think we'll split those one way or the other. If both were at home, they'd both be wins. I'm hoping mentally we can overcome our limitations and split those.

Going back to to last night. Ga. hit us in the mouth and we immediately stuck our tail between our legs. That shows me a lack of mental toughness. And it starts at the top. How many games have we seen Mullen with that look in his eyes of "the other team is way more talented and we can't match up with them". It happens every year with Bama, and then usually a time or two in other games during the year. I saw it last night. And then he proceeds to call a conservative game and takes away our aggressiveness.

If things aren't going our way completely, we don't have the mental fortitude to withstand a fight. And it's not just us. I've seen it with "most" other teams as well. The difference in elite teams and good teams is the mental toughness it takes to overcome adversity. Particularly when the other team is more talented than you. If the other team is more talented and you aren't mentally tough, you get beat 31-3.

Don't disagree at all, but in his defense, I will say that we barely had anyone that had their **** together last night. Hell, even Cooke was terrible until he finally calmed down in the 2nd quarter.

You're right though. It's tough enough to win on the road in the SEC to start like that.
