Expectations 2018-2019 Season

After listening to the first 2 games of the season on the radio I concluded Rutgers would be more exciting and would be a better 3 point shooting team this year.

This new young team would bring some excitement to the program and help recruiting.

My expectations were for only 2-3 more wins this year and maybe a .500 record.

The Big Ten is loaded with talent and getting 2-3 more wins would be tough to do.

If you cannot get 2-3 more wins each year after going 15-19 last year and being a losing program forever, I do not know how you move this program forward.

The expectations are so low and even with new coaches the program just seems like it never moves forward.

I will pray and hope that things change in the next month.

The three point shooting fooled me. This is still a sub average shooting team. 56% through two games was a total mirage.

Listen as much as I am slamming the team today and it should be slammed...we still are young this year but there are very encouraging signs. Unfortunately as the past 3 years have shown Pikiell is having difficulty getting the team to play on a high level against teams they are better than or some of the lesser big 10 schools. He has shown he can really prepare and focus this team as the hunter but less so as the hunted

This team seemed to waltz into this game like it was going to be a walkover

As long as most league opponents continue to out recruit Rutgers, achieving a winning season will remain a difficult task especially with the lack of shooters.
