If you exclude recruiting, Cal is one of he worst coaches in college basketball. I believe the Lady Cats' coach would do a better job with this team.

Auburn really could not have played worse, and we still got boat raced the last 10 mins. This poor team is just a lost group with no direction. Cheers to next year boys and girls! If we are .500 by the end of the season that will be a miracle within itself. Cal has lost this team, and it’s too late to get it fixed.....way too many bad losses to come

We are talking about Cal. The age of the players has nothing to do with the dumb decisions Cal makes. However, age is the reason why the game has passed him. He has been reduced to only being a screamer and hand waver.
I truly think most local high school coaches could achieve a better result this season. This particular season.
We're young and we were on the road in the SEC. It's a tough conference and any win on the road is tough in this league.

I said this after the 2015 loss to Wisconsin. Bob Weltlich would have won the title with that team.
They just need trust each other. And the process. Oh, and fight for each other.
I know. If Cal had played Ulis and Booker more and the Harrison Twins less, he would have won it too.
This isn't communism (yet).....the best players will play....wait, being told that was just hot air from Cal
Cal lost that Championship by being a terrible Coach just like he lost the one at Memphis by being a terrible Coach and the UConn by being a terrible Coach, not to mention Kansas State, no need to go on, we could probably name at least 5 Tournament exits on his Coaching.

And the 2010 FF game against UCONN when he let Brandon Knight go totally out of control in the second half. Of all those losses the one to K-State against Bruce Webber was really bad.
